Right when we walked up the car hop had an attitude with an older handicap man. We waited for 30 mintues and no one took our order. The cars parked at the box had people standing outside waiting and definitely frustrated. Possibly staffing issue but also just lack of good customer service.

Thursday night my boyfriend and I decided we wanted sonic, and it was the best choice we could’ve made. Despite being noticeably short staffed, everyone was really nice and friendly. The food was also super yummy and made perfectly. It makes me sad honestly to see so many bad reviews because the Salida Sonic has had obvious struggle throughout the years, but in my opinion it seems like they’re really trying and have come a long way! Feeling grateful.

I return time and time again hoping it will get better. The building is falling apart. Cannot use the kiosks,no car hops have to use drive thru. The Wait is usually long over 20 minutes. Tator tots were cold. Burger was torn in 3 pieces, bun looked like it had been stomped on. Was not edible. Ordered chicken dinner it was cold and the chicken was about 3 inches long dry and cold. I am a resident and will not be returning.
