The food is fresh and delicious and the atmosphere is relaxed but refined. Great place for a tasty breakfast and coffee with girlfriends!
Nothing beats customer services, very friendly and great foods and drinks too.
Naomi just made my day! The pastries are always worth the trip and the service is amazing. We own a vacation place in Salida but don’t visit enough. Biker and Baker is a true epicurean treat for the sweet tooth (their breakfasts are fabulous, as well).

Only had the lemon bars so this review encompass' no other eating option.
Website said opens at 4pm, so we arrived around 4:30 and they were closed. The staff was very nice and allowed us to order lemon bars since we were referred to them for that item from a friend.
The Lemon bars were underwhelming, quite runny, and a very thin crust. The serving size was generous, and I would like to try other options if we are ever in town again.
The pasty options were displayed well and looked yummy, but due to the timing of our visit we could not try them.
Was kinda a bummer since our expectation was high, perhaps an off day for the baker?
Parking: Street parking only, during peak times it is a bit of a walk.

Stopped in on a Sunday drive. We would definitely make the 2 hour drive again!
A short wait but in no rush. We were seated at a window table and drinks taken quickly.
The coffee was definitely in the wake you up strong zone. And the pastries in the case on the way in looked Devine. Tip...pick any pastries right away as they sell fast. I picked a pink macaroon and almond chocolate scone. Good scones are so hard to find. The macaroon was chewy and silky melty all in one.
I did the Biker Benedict, and hubby did the Monster burrito. I did not try his burrito as while I love spicy, I am a spice weakling. Even tho our server said the biker Benedict wasn't spicy if you are super sensitive to spice, it might be too much, but it was just right for me.
A touch of heat made the dish pop. I have to admit I was worried about the dill holindaise sauce, but it worked. It was served on polenta cakes, which were crispy and soft, the eggs perfectly poached. Hubby loved the spice of his burrito, and it was the perfect portion size.
It was a bit tight for the indoor tables but so cute and cozy. They also have tables outside on the 3rd level.
I saw the plates for other tables pass by us, and they all looked amazing!
We can't wait to hop back in!!

Recently stopped by for breakfast on our way out of the area (our hotel recommended this place) and W O W what a great experience! The Biker and The Baker is above Sweetie's and the decor and vibes were very eclectic and fun. We had a table by a window overlooking the street and the river nearby. My fiancé and I split the Hurricane Ditka burrito and a chocolate croissant, he also got a latte and I had the Bailey's Coffee. Everything was excellent, but the chocolate croissant was one of the best I've ever had. It was served slightly warm and it was truly perfect! We loved this place and would definitely come back again! Service was great, too - friendly and attentive, just the right balance of checking in and giving us time to enjoy our meal.

Fantastic omelet, it was called "the Avalanch." Spinach, caramelized onions, goat cheese. I'll be dreaming about it....the "Hot Tropic" OJ drink was delicious as well. Will be back!
