We did a distillery tour at Woods for a Bachelorette party and had a fantastic experience. Drew was a fun tour guide who loved to geek out about the science of distilling with us and we loved it! The spirits are all top notch and unique. They have a really cool old still with a great history (you'll have to go in person to get the full story). The cocktails at the bar are really top tier too. Everyone we met there truly cares about their craft and it comes through in the quality of the drinks and spirits. Thank you all for an wonderfully memorable experience.

The tour is so amazingly worth it! Drew is the best and explained in detail how everything is made in house. The best tour I've ever been on. I could not recommend it more, please check it out!

We did a distillery tour with Drew this afternoon and had a GREAT time. He was incredibly knowledgeable, answered all the questions we could come up with, and gave us a wonderful experience. Also did not hurt that the drinks were delicious; we bought two bottles and are very pleased!

Here is review of a silent disco held at this awesome establishment. This review was only possible because of the fabulous staff at Wood's. If you enjoy spirits, Wood's is a must do spot. Now, on with the review...A hobo walked into a distillery...One day there will be an end to that joke. Last night I walked into Wood's distillery and was given another look at how the young rock the Casbah with a silent disco.Silent Disco? What the heck is that? Those were the questions that popped into my grey matter when I saw an advertisement for one, here in Salida, at Wood's Distillery. The ad stated that Full House Entertainment was holding a silent disco. Disco? Wait a minute, I'm a survivor of the disco era from start to finish and I just had to see, and hear, what this was about. I bought 2 tickets online and awaited my date with disco.Last night finally arrived and I was super excited. My wife, the brave recluse, agreed to accompany me. We're talking a borderline agoraphobia when we talk about her. So, this was a treat and one that she did not regret. With river rat clothes donned, as per the ads request, we entered into Wood's distillery and our disco delight.I knew after reading the info on Full House's web site that we would be given headphones to enjoy the music and now you know how discos can be silent....headphones. Marvelous, 3 channel, light changing headphones! My God! This was amazing! Not only could I have 3 different songs at just flick of a switch but now that same music wasn't destroyed by bad building acoustics or loud coke heads...like the old days. No, my disco was pure and clear. My thumps were the thumpiest that ever thumped. I was in disco heaven. But how could you truly disco if everyone was wearing headphones? Wouldn't it ruin the reason for going to a public place to dance? The answer is, HELL NO! I say it enhances the experience. You can choose to sit and disco in the corner while watching the people gyrate to the same channel or you can step up, jump up and let the spirit of Olivia Newton John flow through your body like grease. It's all acceptable and encouraged. The lights, vibe and efforts that Full House Entertainment put forth are second to none. What really impressed me was that folks who walked into Wood's and had no knowledge of the Disco could rent headphones on the spot and join the fun. Nobody felt left out unless they just wanted to be left out like a muddy stick. To summarize, the young know how to rock, or disco, and I for one am a grateful old hobo that experienced my first silent disco. Thank you Full House Entertainment and Wood's distillery for a memory I'll take with me everywhere.

I'm always amazed with how many cool and unique restaurants exist in mountain towns. This is the first time we went to Woods High since we usually focus on breweries when we're in town. We came here with a party of four around 5:45 on a Saturday and it was bumping! It is a small space so seating can be hit or miss - we snagged the end of a communal table. The vibes were spot on - I loved all the local art they had hanging, as well as the kayak and bicycle (holding liquor bottles in its basket) suspended from be ceiling. They also had a bunch of random games to play at the bar. As far as the drinks, they were all tasty. I got the ginger pear snap (Pear spiced infused San Luis Vodka, lemon, ginger liqueur, prickly pear, gingerbread spices) which had a tasty rim and a cinnamon stick that they lit and toasted, as well as a rosemary sprig for garnish. My husband got the Final Say (Treeline Barrel Rested Gin, Pineapple-Infused Treeline Gin, lime, green tea elixir), also tasty. If you're planning to come, just be aware that it'll be busy and you might have to wait for seating!

I've done several distillery tours before, but this one was the best by far. Drew was extremely knowledgeable and fun to hang around. I really enjoyed the rye whiskey and rested gin! I highly recommend.

Pretty fun little place. Great decor. As for drinks, the rye sazerac was very smooth. And the discussion about good vs bad pasta was particularly engaging.

When I think about the bar scene in Salida, Colorado, there’s one establishment that really sets the high water mark. It’s Woods Distillery on 1st street! The quality of the spirits is truly world class and I love the chic decor and soft lighting. The cocktails are well crafted and the service and hospitality is consistently exceptional.

Atmosphere. I'm not of age yet, but they always make sure I have a cola to drink. Always feel welcome and have wonderful conversation with the bar tenders.
