Pizza took 30 minutes to arrive to our table which is totally fine since they are making it fresh. However the pizza was very disappointing. Crust was basically raw, cheese wasn’t even melted and the sausage tasted like it was from a $1.99 Tostitos pizza. Poor quality, no flavor and took forever. After we left my husband and I both felt extremely ill- we aren’t very picky and this was the absolute worst pizza we’ve ever had.

My first visit to Melody's was excellent. FINALLY Summit County has a fantastic pizza restaurant! They offer LOTS of unique choices for their custom made pizzas. Kellen was particularly outgoing and friendly, and provided me with various options and ideas. Way to go Melody's for opening here in Silverthorne! Highly recommended!

The pizza here is so good! We got half pepperoni and half cheese and the crust was so crispy and delicious (just how we like it). The two gentlemen working were so friendly to us and it definitely shows they care about their customers and the food they prepare. Would recommend and the next time we travel up here, we’ll definitely stop by!

Wonderful pizza. I like the pepporoni is Diced so it covers more of the pizza. Friendly staff. Fast service.

My comments here are only regarding their pizza. It has gotten better since they opened, but their dough is still just not very good. It's very bread-y, which in my experience means it needs to be kneaded longer, or gluten added either manually or by using a high gluten flour. And then proofing may need to be adjusted once those changes are made. I am no expert, and not a great dough troubleshooter, I just know that if I made that dough I would be working to fix it because it's not great. It ends up having a Sysco pre-baked pizza shell quality, which is not a good thing.

You can just look at the photos of their pizza here and in the reviews. It's just not right. I would recommend grabbing a frozen pizza dough ball from whole foods, making a pie or two with that dough, and set that as the North Star. Also, a lot of the mass produced frozen doughs that you can get from suppliers are pretty good, you just have to defrost them properly.

Toppings and ingredients are consistently great.

I want this place to be so good, it's so convenient and the pizza place it replaced was so great. But it's just not there yet.
