Aurum Food & Wine Aspen Snowmass

The food has definitely gone down hill. Lamb was delivered RAW, sent back, and returned very, very rare. It was ordered medium rare. Fish dishes were mediocre, not fresh. Appetizers were ok. The wine list was fantastic, and our server was excellent. We have eaten there regularly over the past year, and this was a definite departure from their standard.

Very nice restaurant, great food, service, kind of destroyed it with different people bringing different courses over but overall a great experience.

Food was very good with very fresh high quality ingredients and imaginative dishes. The service was outstanding- the waitstaff was very polite, knowledgeable and attentive.

We eat here when in snowmass to support local restaurants. Their soups are always great. Ordered filet medium rare came out medium/well but flavor was still there so did not ask server to redo it Chicken was good a bit dry & just warm not hot but curry sauce was good with it. Best part are their parker house rolls & butter. Our friend said her Quinoa dish was very good. Service was great.

Great place for “casual” fine dining. The burger was particularly good - with a truffle option on the fries.

We had dinner here with friends and we enjoyed every single dish we ordered. The beet salad was delicious as was the curried cauliflower. We also had the sweet potato bisque, beef filet and trout. The presentation and accompaniments were very creative and the flavor profiles were perfect.
Our server, Karen, a delightful woman from Argentina, was incredibly attentive without being overbearing.

Aurum was a fantastic dining experience for my family of four! The food was absolutely delicious—everything we ordered was exceptional. The tuna, trout, and Tuscan kale salad were perfectly prepared, fresh, and full of flavor.

The decor was lovely, with a modern yet cozy feel that added to the overall experience. The only downside was that the restaurant was quiet when we visited, which made the ambiance feel a bit awkward. However, this didn’t detract from the quality of the meal or the attentive service.

I highly recommend Aurum for anyone looking for a delicious and beautifully presented meal in Aspen Snowmass. I’ll definitely be back!

Aurum Food, situated at the base of Snowmass Village right by the ski lifts, is an excellent choice for both lunch and apres ski. While it may not be the fastest option for a quick bite, the quality of the food more than makes up for any wait times. Depending on when you arrive for lunch, you might encounter a bit of a wait to be seated, particularly during peak hours, but the inviting atmosphere and delicious offerings are well worth it.

The menu features comforting and nourishing dishes that are perfect after a day on the slopes. Among my personal favorites are the rich tomato soup paired with a classic grilled cheese, which is a delightful combo that ensures a warm and satisfying meal. The roasted cauliflower is another standout dish, offering a deliciously seasoned and hearty option.

For apres ski, Aurum Food excels with its selection of drinks and small plates that are perfect for unwinding after a day of skiing. The prices for both drinks and bites are reasonable, making it a fantastic spot to gather with friends and recoup after an active day. Overall, Aurum Food provides a lovely dining experience with a menu that invites you to indulge and relax.

Awesome ambience, food and drinks! The restaurant came highly recommended and it did not disappoint. My husband had the best trout he's ever had and my Moroccan chicken was superb. The cauliflower appetizer was delicious as well! Our waiter, Andrew, was fantastic as was the rest of the staff! We will be back!!
