Terrible service! Staff was incredibly rude and the food was something I feel I could get from a gas station. Not great.

Staple in Snowmass. Solid Italian food despite change of ownership. Experience wait staff and an actively involved young manger.

Spending our honeymoon in Snowmass and we were looking forward to this restaurant being our nice dinner out on the trip. It ended up being very average and bland for what the prices were. The penne was way over sauced, average flavor, and soupy. The linguine was also bland, the shrimp was a bit cold, and overall was very underwhelming for $34. We’ve had better Italian at Olive Garden for half the price.
Horrendously slow service
Hour between ordering drinks and ordering food, with another hour before food came.
We had to continually get up and find staff to ask for drinks.
Food was decent, a step above Olive Garden, but not worth the price.

Very disappointing experience. The pasta sauce was overly sour, almost unpleasant to eat, and didn’t taste balanced at all. The vegetables on the pizza were not fresh, which really ruined the flavor. For an Italian restaurant, I expected much better quality. Sadly, nothing about the meal made me want to come back.
The atmosphere was good though. We were sat next to window. Good spacing between tables.

Excellent carbohydrates after a day of hiking. Tried the butternut squash ravioli and rotini both flavorful and fresh. Artichoke bruschetta was delicious. Tiramisu and gelato great final touches to our dinner.

Had reservations at 7:15, were sat in the very back despite there being 3 available tables up front. Asked to sit up front and was told they were reserved, those tables were never sat again. Opted to sit at the bar instead. Bartenders were friendly and knowledgeable. Ricotta appetizer was excellent! Ordered the mezzo pollo, very disappointing, lacked color and taste. Just a touch of salt and pepper would have made a huge difference. We found out the place changed hands in the last couple of years and has not been the same since. Clearly the new owners are not focused on providing great food or a quality dining experience. We will not be back.

Dinner was good. Nothing amazing. I ordered Gnocchi with Veal, however I expected the Veal to have been medium cooked and sliced but it came out really dried and in small cubes, which for a fine dinner, I would have expected the presentation to be better
My biggest “dissatisfaction “ was that I made a reservation and made special notes on it since we were celebrating our wedding anniversary and we were going with our toddler.
Upon arrival, Host did not have a table reserved for us and we ended up in a small square table. He did not acknowledge or discuss any of my notes on the reservation, so why bother asking. Pictures on the website and restaurant description catalogue it of Fine, however there was no elevated table presentation. No table cloth, which in many pictures it shows they do. Also, many people were wearing sweatpants, shorts and it was more casual than fine to be honest.
Pizza was absolutely delicious as well as the crème brûlée.for a $200 dinner I expected more. Server was great, I think her name was Ashley?
We will come back but now knowing it’s more an everyday Restaurant and not Fine Dining.

We go here every summer when we stay in Snowmass on an anual family weekend getaway. Now that we have 2 young kids it’s become especially difficult to go to dinner at a sit down restaurant. To date we have made the effort to reserve a table and eat at the restaurant and the experience has always be exceptional. On this occasion, the first year ordering takeout, I was charged a 20% automatic tip with zero heads up. That is insane for takeout. Nothing else needs to be said. This is either an individual or a business taking advantage of people.

Best meal in Snowmass! Service and food were both exceptional. We had a fewembers of our party with unusual food restrictions, and they did an excellent job ensuring their needs were met. Had a mix of specials and regular menu items and all were superb!

I've always enjoyed dining at Il Poggio. I see it as a treat. The artichoke bruschetta is a unique and excellent appetizer.
