They serve smoothies, acai bowls and small meal items like salads and sandwiches. Got a couple of smoothies here and they were fantastic! Everything is a bit pricey though. $11 for a smoothie.
Lovely view of the mountains to the south from their seating area.

The views are nice from this little cafe but coffee is WAY too bitter.

They should be commended for being the only breakfast spot open in Snowmass Village during the early October time frame. That said, the cashier seemed disgruntled that she had to work and was pretty rude. They also were out of a lot of supplies. Only having Tabasco as a hit sauce option should be a criminal offense. The Seco breakfast burrito was decent. The bagel sandwich was pretty good, too. Both the Asterix and Obelix were good blended drinks, although $9 seems like highway robbery for 12 oz. of anything without alcohol in it. What really makes this place is the view. That's what you're really paying for!

Was excited to try this place after reading all the good reviews. However was a little disappointed. We were the first customers to arrive when the shop opened at 8am:
Pros:
1. Food and coffee was great
3. View is nice
Cons:
1. The staff member who greeted us had a sour disposition. Not welcoming at all, especially for first customers of the day
2. The floors were filthy. Clearly not vacuumed or mopped over night.

First of all, you can’t go wrong with without you! Secondly, this place is so welcoming. The food is delicious and they have amazing juice. They are a quick walk towards the village and walking distance from many of the hotels here

We got here at 3:45 - Google maps listing says that they are open until five, (since changed to 4) I called the phone number and they verified that they were open, but the doors are locked and after knocking on the doors - an employee came to the door and said that they normally close at four but they were closing early today because they had a long day and were tired out….
So we drove up from brush Creek Road parked in the garage to come get smoothies about a 45 minute / 60 min process to be told that even though that we were there before closing (15 minutes according to the employee, an hour and 15 minutes according to google maps hours that they had a long day and were closing early.
Absolutely terrible - I’m curious what the owner thinks?
Re: your reply:
#1: Well how do you propose to make it up to us?
#2: Thanks for updating the hours just now to reflect that you’re close at four, as I think you would agree, that does not change the circumstances as your employees will tell you, we (two adults and three kids) were trying to get in at 3:45

The food and service was great, but their only dine in option is single use plastic containers and single use cups. I had hoped Aspen/Snowmass would be more eco friendly around single use waste.
Good coffee and breakfast with a great view!

A great cafe in Base Village. Enjoyed the gluten free protein balls. Top views of the valley and cool artwork. A must coffee break in Snowmass.

There is a massive difference in quality between the Jus Aspen and the Jus Snowmass. I don’t know why that would be but I am always disappointed with Jus Snowmass. Jus Aspen is 5 stars.
