Favorite place to eat on the mountain. Delicious fresh pasta. Sometimes the service can be really slow though. It’s almost like they forget some of us are there to ski and want to get back out

Taking 45 min to serve a single plate of child’s plain pasta is crazy. On top of that, serving plain pasta with a cup of cheese on top of the plain pasta to a child with a DAIRY ALLERGY is dangerous! I made it clear to the waiter that she had a dairy allergy when ordering. Manager came over to apologize. A side of bread for $20 is ridiculous too but standard in aspen where it’s impossible to buy decent bread??!!! Some goodwill gesture of acknowledging the error would have been appreciated.

good food, price is as expected on the high end. highly recommand the salad. sharing pizza and salad was filling enough for an afternoon bite. expect to spend time to wait for your food and getting seat

The only complaints about this restaurant are from people who show up with 8-10 people then complain about the service because they feel they should be treated like a table of 2; and entitled and disheveled skiers who walk in then complain about the prices. I love this place keeps the rift raft out - bonus! This is better than 90% of the Italian restaurants in your home city. If you don't think so, you don't understand quality cooking. Phenomenal food, the views come in a distant second

The food is excellent, and be sure to try the appetizers. Our server, Nicolas, was outstanding, and all of our dishes arrived promptly.
If you’re looking for a quick lunch, this might not be the best option. However, if you’re interested in a longer, more relaxing break, Sam’s offers a charming sit-down atmosphere with stunning views of the surrounding landscape. It could be the perfect spot to unwind and savor a meal if you have the time to spare.

Food is surprisingly meh. Gnocchi was dry and undercooked. Trout dish was one dimensional with too much lemon sauce. Views however are obviously stunning.

View was amazing! Atmosphere was incredibly relaxing and the restaurant even provided slippers while eating! We had a bit of a misstep with our server however the manager Darren made it right, thank you.

This was a horrible experience. I showed up and got kicked out for being too poor. Will not be returning again. Do not go here if you don't look like you have money. The staff treated my friend and I like trash.

The food (the trout in particular!) was excellent, the service friendly and helpful (ty Teairra!) and all with beautiful scenery and a relaxed ambiance.
The wine list is also fairly extensive.
