We were seated at a nice table along the flower filled railing-we thought. The atmosphere was really weird, just a few tables had customers, and all we could hear were screaming kids at the pool. I saw nice stereo speakers around, maybe some music would have tempered the pool noise, but no music was playing. It was really unpleasant so we each had a drink then left without ordering food.
Four of us went to The Artisan for happy hour. For Aspen/Snowmass the prices were very reasonable and the food and drinks were great. Lovely atmosphere and the service was excellent. Highly recommend the elk sliders!
We remain fans. We always have a good meal there. We really enjoyed the scallop appetizer, the spinach and goat cheese salad and the truffle fries. For entrees the grouper was very good as was the chicken pesto pasta. Our server was very helpful and attentive. While we didn't order it, the burger looked very good. The main dining area was closed for a private event so we were seated in the bar by the fireplace, which was very nice.
