Food is sub par and prices are high... probably because of the location. Not worth it imo.
The pizza was good and the service friendly, but I was skeptical about my drink order. They said it could be changed, but when I asked to change it, they ordered an additional drink and charged me for both. The lack of clear communication was disappointing.

Was looking for an affordable dinner spot in Snowmass but wish I would have chosen somewhere else. It took 15+ minutes for someone to take our order, our server was kind but very inattentive, our fries were room temp when they arrived, we didn’t get utensils until 5m after we were served, and there was a group with two dogs next to us and their doodle sat on the bench next to my wife while we ate. Only giving two stars because our server was kind and the food was decent.

We only stayed in Aspen for one night and I’m so glad we chose Tavern! From start to finish, everything was perfect.
The food was absolutely delicious—full of flavor and cooked perfectly. Over at the bar, Jordan and Kellen mixed up some of the best drinks we’ve had in a long time.
Kellen and Jordan are highly recommended — they’re both so nice, attentive, and made the experience even better. Definitely the kind of people who make you feel welcome and taken care of.
And a special thank you to Ashley, the owner—she personally came over to check on us, helped out, and made sure our experience was unforgettable. It’s rare to see an owner so hands-on and genuinely caring.
Even though our time in Aspen was short, Tavern made it truly memorable. Highly recommend to anyone visiting!

We drove 4 hours into Aspen and were just looking for a good meal after the long trip — only to find out the kitchen had just closed. But then, something amazing happened…
The owner, Shley, came through like a true hero. She went out of her way, talked to the kitchen staff, and made sure we were taken care of. So much kindness and hospitality — truly above and beyond!
Huge shoutout to the kitchen legends Javi and Sergio for firing up some delicious food even after hours. You guys rock!
And let’s not forget the bar crew — absolutely 🔥. Super friendly, energetic, and just a vibe. Kellen kept checking in on us, making conversation, sharing stories — it felt like we were regulars. And Jordan really stepped up and delivered top-notch service. The whole team made us feel incredibly welcome.
We’re honestly just sad this place isn’t closer to home — because we’d be back again and again. If you’re anywhere near Aspen, don’t miss The Tavern. This is what hospitality should feel like. 🙌

Fun place for families - kids menu, arcade games, foosball, and a pool table. Fathers can watch sports, kids play games and moms have a drink in peace :)
We brought my son's friends here for his birthday and they had a good time.
The pub food is good and reasonably priced. $10 kids menu. The place is lively and laid back. Winter time it's popular for apres ski.

The Taverns menu is only getting better and better. It’s the go to spot in the village for playing pool and seeing local DJ’s. Combined with trivia nights and the accessibility it’s easily becoming the locals bar. Shoutout to Kellen behind the bar for superior service.

I’m not sure this is a gay bar or if it just happened to be the night I went, but I’ve never seen two guys and Cowboy hats make out before I came here. It was like my own real life Brokeback Mountain. The burger was pretty good, the fries were great, and although the service was a little slow since they appeared to be lightly staffed, our bartender/server (from South Africa) was really friendly and helpful.

Service was good, but the food was pretty bland which I was surprised by based on the reviews.
I got Jeff's burger and it was dry and bland, my wife got the house burger and she thought it was just ok.
Fries were good though, but the burger was pretty bad.

This is a sports bar, but we still could hear the music. Nice views since you're on the 2nd floor. Hamburger was very good. I had the BLTwguac and fries.

Place is dingy and disgusting, witnessed a female manager unnecessarily aggressive with patrons, and total lack of any atmosphere. Didn’t even stick around for the food at that point. Won’t recommend to others and won’t be back.

Food and service were great. Travis gave us excellent service.
We came in for lunch right as the restaurant opened and were lucky enough to have Sai as our server. Even though he was the only one working the floor, he handled every table with such patience and professionalism. Sai’s friendly attitude and dedication really made the experience enjoyable, and we truly appreciate how hard he worked to keep everyone taken care of. Plus, the beers were cold and filled swiftly!
Thank you, Sai, for making our visit memorable!
