I was the musical booking person here from June 15th to March 17th. During my time there I had a great experience with the staff, ownership, artists, and bar patrons! Although I have recently been let go I will continue to highly recommend this establishment to everyone looking for something to do in Snowmass. The Tavern is on to great things! Love you guys

Been coming here for years and they used to have such great food. Wings and nachos. But this time around the food was absolutely terrible, the nachos were cold and the pulled pork was very dry, it was queso cheese that made them soggy. The wings were sauceless and dry. Disappointed as this used to be our favourite place to apres ski. The servers were great though

The neighborhood dive bar with music, games, and a stage. You're all set for a rowdy time.

Friday 1/20/24 I was physically assaulted by the owner, Jeff, inside of the establishment… the police were called but the owner, Jeff, fled the scene before they had the chance to get his side of the story, weird right? Just putting this out there so that you all can make informed decisions about the establishments that you choose to patronize….A true restaurateur knows that you never put your hands on a customer unless your staff/patrons safety is at risk & this was clearly not the situation in the above mentioned assault… Safe eating folks & choose wisely✌️

Food was OK Service was slow I ordered the H&H burge. I didn’t want the fries and asked what could be subbed for the fries. The server said for an up charge I could get Broccolini. Much to my surprise when the bill came the up charge was $12.00. If I would have known the upcharge was $12, I would have ordered the fries. I feel the server should have told us what the upcharge was going to be. Also, my friend ordered the house wine. The server came back and said they were out of that wine but they had a good substitut. Thank goodness my friend asked how much, it was $17. Those 2 instances did not sit right and we well as if we got conned Respectfull, Jim G

Bartender, Ang at the Tavern pours the best pint of Guinness in Aspen. If you are Irish, or a Guinness drinker - this is the place for you.

Went for lunch. The place was empty. We sat in the lounge and it was cold (had to keep out jackets on). I had the breakfast burrito for lunch which was just ok. Wife had the spicy fried chicken sandwich with onion rings which again was just ok. Not sure we will try it again.

Excellent, affordable sit down breakfast adjacent to slopes and they open at 7 am so you can still make first chair. Lovely, attentive staff.

I got the beef chili. It was cold, and the meat was tough. It was supposed to come with cheese, onions, and sour cream as you would expect with chili. Mine came out without it. I asked for crackers at the time that I ordered, and the crackers they offered were more like wheat graham crackers. I didn’t mention any of this to staff because I didn’t get the sense they would take care of it. We went around 5pm on Saturday, and there was a DJ for a club vibe. If that’s your thing, enjoy it, but it was too loud for me.

Went to the tavern New Years eve day. Sat for 20+ minutes without being acknowledged. We had to order our drinks from the bar. There were more staff than patrons at this point but still no service to speak off. Then after sitting for an hour we were asked to leave our table because it was reserved. No warning whatsoever. So we paid the tab in cash and left. I was then also charged on my card...double charged for the worst time ever. As locals we will be shaming this place to anyone who will listen. No lies. We were there long before the balloons were hung. Place was not packed. We weren't given a notice at allI WAS double chargedI left immediately. There's no video of any of us being rudeAppreciate your "apology"Keep in mind , this is how the owner responds to guests.

Our crew was hungry and needed to eat fast. This place met our needs. Burgers were solid. Service was mediocre. But overall it was a positive experience.

The atmosphere is mountain like relaxed pub. The food is good especially the blackened chicken pasta.
