Ramon's Mexican Restaurant Reviews
we waited for 15 min. and asked for water and the person said she wasn't out waitress but gave us chips. The people waiting to be seated behind us knew the hostess. They already had water, drinks, and appetizers. We left after 20 min. of waitress and waiters looking at us and walking away. We left when we saw another table that came in 2 tables after us with drinks. Guess you got to know the hosts and waiters to get service.
A hidden gem in the middle of nowhere! The food was delicious, the service friendly, and the salsa was top-notch!
Amazing food and the best service we have ever had anywhere!!!

Ramon's Mexican Restaurant offers great food, with a special mention to their chips and salsa. The fried ice cream and sopapillas are a must-try, exceeding expectations. The friendly staff provides good service, even during busy times, ensuring guests feel at home. The fantastic atmosphere makes it a perfect spot for families. While vegetarians might struggle with limited options, the restaurant caters well to various dietary needs. The food is described as delicious, especially the green chili and Tex-Mex dishes like huevos rancheros, quesadillas, and enchiladas. Customers appreciate the happy hour specials and the restaurant's unique spot in the small town.
The restaurant is slightly short of staff, which means customers may need to wait 15-30 minutes before getting seated, and food takes a while to get on the table. However, customers believe it's worth the wait. The restaurant offers signature dishes like Banderrilla (really tender beef) and Carnitas Plate (super tender pork with a crispy surface). Guests have enjoyed the margaritas and feel the prices are fair. The restaurant can accommodate large parties and picky vegetarians, and the carne asada is perfect. Overall, it is a great little spot to grab food after a long day in the mountains, with excellent service and delicious options.
