Pricey but exceptional Golf Club. Glad they're open to the public. Two completely different tracks, one Flat River nine hole Course and one narrow and Steep nine hole Canyon course. Must play at least once to appreciate

We played several rounds here this week and loved every minute. Exceptional course, super friendly staff who treat you like family, and amazing food at the clubhouse. You won't regret booking a tee time here!

I beating it mini golf clubs I am very low maintenance. I did not have reservation and they said it was first come first served out on the patio and in the bar. I chose outdoors. There wasn't a single table available that had been bussed. So I went ahead and took a table that needed to be cleaned.I waited 20 minutes without anyone stopping to ask if I needed anything. I finally flagged down a server. She never cleaned the table the entire time I was there. I ordered the prime rib, which was good. But I waited 30 minutes for it. My cold salad came to me five minutes after my hot food. I was never asked what dressing I desired, and my prime rib came without sauce or horse radish sauce. I had to wave down a server to get it. The only response I got was, 'Thank you for your patience.'

7/1/26. Let me start by saying that the golf course is absolutely incredible! A definite 10 out of 10 experience. Best course my son and I have ever played on!

Our problem was in the bar and grill. I had a tee time for 2:30, so our family went to the bar area at 1 pm and sat at a table. We sat there for 25 minutes and no employee said anything to us or even looked at us. We were completely invisible. They were understaffed and it was crowded, but still, we were absolutely ignored. We left and went to SoFo pizza and made it back for our tee time.

Now, we went back into the bar after our round for some drinks and the night shift was 1000% better than the day shift and treated us nice with good hospitality. If you are going for lunch, be prepared to be ignored unless you are a member/local.

We will be back for the amazing course!

Bar day staff - 0/5
Bar night staff - 5/5
Golf course - 5/5

We played golf and had lunch…a bar bq sandwich. The golf course is in great shape!! More like a country club than a public coarse!

Nice golf course. The front 9 follows The Rio Grande out and back and the back 9 is a mountain style course and can be very challenging. Do yourself a favor and move up a tee box. Definitely not a walking course, sometimes it is longer from green to tee then tee to green. The drought has taken its toll on a few holes but otherwise I enjoyed it.

Great views and fun layout but don't waste your money.. played here a couple years ago and bragged about how awesome it was but its all gone.. Tee boxes, fairways, greens all terrible. Played a week ago on a Sunday morning, no food till 11am... not worth $80 let alone the nearly $200 we paid for it. It'll be a while before I give this another shot

The Rio Grande Club & Resort not only has some of the most beautiful courses I have ever experienced, but they have an amazing restaurant and the friendliest staff you could ever meet! Thank YOU for making our golf tournament extra special this year! We will definitely be hosting our event with you again!!!

Rio Grande Golf Course and their entire staff have been amazing in donating their facility for our non-profit Aspen House/Aspen Services where we are building a home for individuals with Developmental Disabilities. Rio Grande has supported our golf tournament for 3 years now and we have raised a lot of money and that is partly because of this golf course and how they work with non profits in the area. Please support Rio Grande as they support all the local communities in several ways.
