best burger i’ve ever eaten

We came up around 3pm on a Friday. There was one other party eating when we came in. The service was so slow. We got our appetizer and then had to wait 5 minutes to get any silverware for it. Then one person began vacuuming close to get the drifted in cotton. It was so loud no conversations could be had. We finally get our burgers and they are so overcooked and cold. They clearly sat on the counter for a while before getting to us. Then their homemade mayo.... Gross. We left and ate at Taco Bell...at least it was warm and fast.

My breastfed daughter is allergic to dairy and soy, to the point where her stomach bleeds if I ingest any. Connor, our waiter, was soo helpful and patient in making sure the food I ordered didn’t contain any soy or dairy products! I appreciate the attentiveness and integrity of the staff!!
That being said, their wings and fries are amazing!!!

I’ve been going to Big House for a while. Their food (like all of Rex’s Restaurants) is amazing! But the service over the last year hasn’t been quite as good. For three visits in a row something was wrong or forgotten in my order whether I was picking up or eating in. HOWEVER, my faith in Big House was restored tonight. If you walk in and see the woman behind the bar with long dark hair and a charismatic attitude, you know you’re in good hands.

My wife & I were recommended to Big House Burgers by an industry friend who says he goes every time he comes to Steamboat Springs. Now we know why- burger were awesome! There are a lot of burgers that I thought were good, but after I ate them, I’d feel bogged down & heavy. Not so here- cooked great & was a perfect size (my wife & I both had singles). Tater tots were crispy and hot. Our server Victoria was super-friendly & attentive. We will definitely recommend & will definitely be coming back!
