“I've been here twice and both times were so good! I got an espresso boba the first day and a strawberry green tea with green apple boba. My son had a waffle on a stick and loved it. I took my husband a cookie and he couldn't stop talking about it. So in general.. stop by and pick anything up, it's all amazing.”

Several people in our group had the pizza and said it was very good (we live in Chicago and we know pizza), the Strawberry salad was very good as was the hummus platter. Would definitely recommend. “Wild Plum has a great atmosphere, with amazing views of the mountain. They have beautiful flowers in hanging baskets outside, which makes it very inviting, and their food is delicious, especially the chicken sandwich, which is my favorite! We love how it’s conveniently located, a 1 minute walk from the ski resort, and a 3 minute walk from our condo, so if we need any ingredient while we are cooking our dinner, we can quickly get there and enjoy their assortment of products!”

“It is a mini food hall with three eateries. The ordering is through the phone, and it is a bit confusing when picking ingredient options. I am able to navigate and get what I want without adding any extra ($$). I am actually quite impressed with the choice of ingredients . The bowls came out perfectly.”

“A couple of years ago, I had an experience at the Starbucks in City Market, Steamboat, that I’ve been meaning to share. It was around 8:00 PM, right when they were closing, and I stopped in for a coffee before starting my 5 ½-hour drive. The man working there was incredibly kind. Even though he had already started cleaning the machine, he went out of his way to make me a coffee. That alone impressed me, as many places would’ve simply said, “Sorry, we’re closed.”

But what really stood out was what happened next. As I was leaving, I accidentally spilled my coffee all over. I went back in, unsure of what to expect, but he just laughed, stopped what he was doing, and made me another coffee—no hesitation, no complaints. He truly went above and beyond.

The coffee was great, but the kindness and service were what made this experience unforgettable. Five stars for going the extra mile and for creating such a special moment. I’ve been wanting to share this for a long time, so here it is. Highly recommend!”

They checked on us often and accommodated our dietary restrictions and made the food correctly. The food was very delicious, although The portions were a little bit on the smaller side compared to other restaurants and the other Fiesta Jalisco we eat at.”

“Michael Ruby, the owner and head bartender for Yampa Valley Shakers, was absolutely FANTASTIC to work with for our wedding! Ruby went above and beyond to make our day go smoothly and our guests happy (including many of our guests who were visiting from the midwest...and know how to keep a bartender busy). He was incredible at keeping an open line of communication with us starting months before our wedding date. He also worked smoothly with our wedding coordinator, and showed up early the day of, to help prep and stage. More impressively, he was flexible with a lot of last minute changes made on our end and had creative solutions for how to keep a nice flow to the evening. He has the vast experience to whip up (or help you create) a plethora of quality signature cocktails and we relied on his expertise on picking our wine selection. He even went way out of his way to surprise the bride and bridesmaids with a favorite cocktail of theirs in the bridal suite. All in all, we can’t say enough good things about our experience with Yampa Valley Shakers! They were professional, experienced, accommodating, and fun! -James & Courtney”

“I grew up loving these cookies in Fort Collins so I was so stoked when we finally got a Mary’s in town! They have amazing soft, chewy cookies that are well worth the price based on their size! (I usually only eat 1/4 or 1/2 at a time because they are so big 😂) Also recently being gluten free they have 4 classic flavors available that are sooo good for being GF, the snickerdoodle and lemon doodle are my favs! It’s crazy that they bake and decorate in that tiny kiosk too, if they had a little shop to walk into, sit down in, and enjoy a warm cookie on a snowy Steamboat Springs day that would be ultimate 5 star review for sure!”
