“So I have recently moved to Steamboat for a short period of time and have been trying all the coffee shops. I have probably tried almost every single one except a handful so far and I will say the food at Emerald has definitely been the best! I absolutely loved the poppy seed muffin and the breakfast wrap. Ingredients tasted so fresh. Coffee was good too, but I am not a coffee snob so most coffee tastes good to me haha. Definitely coming back frequently for the food!“

“Stopped into Yampa Valley Kitchen for Breakfast. We ordered the crepes, and the French omelet. It was a great omelet, until I got to the grilled onions. Then it was an amazing omelet. My compliments to the chef.
A perfect omelet, perfectly portioned. This is an excellent choice in steamboat restaurants.“

“Fabulous selection of coffee and tea beverages. They do sell iced coffee and tea also. In addition to this they have bottled and canned beverages, pastries, and other snacks. The stores are always clean and inviting. The staff is remarkably friendly and there is seating available. They also have free wi-do, however it's probably not a secure connection.“

“I’m not sure why this place has such bad reviews, because our experience was amazing. It is inside of a hotel, but the atmosphere is very nice. We sat outside and had a great view of Thunderhead Trail and the lifts. The chai latte was out of this world good. They seem to use authentic masala chai that you don’t see in most coffee shops. My husband and I split the avocado toast with egg. It came with a small salad and I’m already thinking about ordering it again to have it all to myself. Our son got the kids breakfast tacos, which were a huge portion that will last him another meal.“
