“This has to this day been the best Mexican Restaurant I've ever been to. I drive all over the country for work and I like to stop here anytime I pass through. Heck sometimes I drive all the way from the east coast just for their Breakfast Burritos and let me tell ya... They Are Worth Every Mile.”

“The food here was OK, but the service and hospitality are absolutely fantastic. They let my dog and I sit outside, as we are traveling back home, and they were extremely accommodating. I would come back here just for the service. The green chili burger was pretty good! It is served open-faced and the onion rings were solid. Again - the service and how they treated my dog would make me want to come back.”

“This chef-owner was so friendly and accommodating. He allowed us to order a lunch item at dinner, and everything we ordered was fresh, beautifully prepared, and cooked to perfection. If we lived in Craig we’d come here regularly. It looks like he’s just getting started and the location is not ideal. Please support this business so we can frequent it every year when we travel through Craig on our way to Sheridan!”

“Normally we have coffee at home but this morning we were out. I was about to pull into McDonalds when I thought of the Mudd Shack. So I headed over. Having never been there and not really knowing what I should get cause I just like my coffee with sugar and cream. I conveyed this to the wonderfully nice lady working the shop and she suggested the Carmel and Cinnamon coffee. It was wonderful, it tasted like something but I couldn't put my finger on what, until my child gulped down half while I was turned away cooking breakfast and she then states "Mmmm that tastes like a cookie!" While I tried to be stern with her about not drinking my coffee I also realize she's my kid and will possibly have my lacking ability to function without the brain juice like me. That and she was totally right, it tastes like a snickerdoodle cookie! Will be a repeat customer, if nothing else just to have a full cup of delicious coffee to myself 😅”

“10 stars! Brought all the kids from cousin camp for ice cream and found the shop closed. Cindy saw all of their excited faces & immediately invited them in for kids cones. She was so patient and sweet to them! We’ll be back “during regular hours”. 😊😊”

“I saw Shakey Wimbledon play a show here once and I actually levitated during a guitar solo. Okay, maybe I drank one too many Skelton Scooners (whiskey + pineapple) but I had a ball dancing with the owner. She showed me the back room where they have a lot of Michael Bolton memorabilia, including the wig he wore on his 1995 tour. Great food.”

“While on the road we try to have a great breakfast about two hours into our drive. Cool Water Grill did not disappoint us! Excellent service and the best vegetarian omelet I have had recently!”
