“Fabulous selection of coffee and tea beverages. They do sell iced coffee and tea also. In addition to this they have bottled and canned beverages, pastries, and other snacks. The stores are always clean and inviting. The staff is remarkably friendly and there is seating available. They also have free wi-do, however it's probably not a secure connection.“
“A couple of years ago, I had an experience at the Starbucks in City Market, Steamboat, that I’ve been meaning to share. It was around 8:00 PM, right when they were closing, and I stopped in for a coffee before starting my 5 ½-hour drive. The man working there was incredibly kind. Even though he had already started cleaning the machine, he went out of his way to make me a coffee. That alone impressed me, as many places would’ve simply said, “Sorry, we’re closed.”
But what really stood out was what happened next. As I was leaving, I accidentally spilled my coffee all over. I went back in, unsure of what to expect, but he just laughed, stopped what he was doing, and made me another coffee—no hesitation, no complaints. He truly went above and beyond.
The coffee was great, but the kindness and service were what made this experience unforgettable. Five stars for going the extra mile and for creating such a special moment. I’ve been wanting to share this for a long time, so here it is. Highly recommend!“
“Been going to Starbucks all over the country for 25 years now. Over the last 10 years or so I have noticed customer service has dropped considerably. Also noticed most Starbucks have made their stores uncomfortable to stay. Almost like they want you to get the coffee and get out. This store seems to have bucked that trend. Not sure if its different management recently, but this store is very comfortable to stay and sit, and the last several times I came in they greeted people coming in the front door. Something I haven't seen in over a decade. It's refreshing to see a store try again. Good job!“
