“Todd and I stumbled upon this truly incredible experience. Mike and Denny were superb “hosts”. The wine samplings were fabulous and Mike was incredibly knowledgeable of the wines he served. In addition, we had the most amazing oysters, fresh from Puget Sound. Overall, a wonderful evening. I highly recommend.“

Select a table,go to the bar to order and they will bring the food when it is ready. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. Generous happy hour.“

“We found The Barley early on in our time in Steamboat, and it has become comfortably our favorite place to grab a beer with friends. They offer a fantastic rotating selection of mostly Colorado beers (with some tourist taps that are almost invariably excellent), friendly service by people who know their beer, and fun events on a regular basis. It can get busy in the evenings, but can also be a surprisingly quiet place to grab a drink after lunch and get some work done in the afternoons.“

Harwigs catered our wedding, and we also had the pleasure of dining in the restaurant a few times in preparation for the big day. The food is incredible - the dishes and flavor combinations are interesting, creative and elevated. All of our guests raved about the food (the lamb chops and sliders got extra shout outs during cocktail hour!) “So I have recently moved to Steamboat for a short period of time and have been trying all the coffee shops. I have probably tried almost every single one except a handful so far and I will say the food at Emerald has definitely been the best! I absolutely loved the poppy seed muffin and the breakfast wrap. Ingredients tasted so fresh. Coffee was good too, but I am not a coffee snob so most coffee tastes good to me haha. Definitely coming back frequently for the food!“
