Such a cute and casual spot. Unbelievable mussels I will rave about forever (the white wine lemon sauce omg). Portions were large which for the price was a significant bonus for the area. Loved it here will definitely return.

This is a family own restaurant that has so much passion in what they do. We could tell the second we walked in that there was so much attention to detail when creating this restaurant and its cozy environment encouraged us to stay even with a 30 minute wait time. The hostess knew we were open to bar seating and quickly let us know the second there was an opening, reducing our wait time to less than 5 minutes. The wood-fire pizza oven across from the bar seating is absolutely stunning – made out of Italian tiles that were imported by the family themselves. The open kitchen concept provides an entertaining experience, and I was absolutely amazed at how the two cooks in the kitchen worked together to quickly produce meals. What was even more surprising, the cooks looked young. Once we were close to finishing our meal, we stroke up a conversation with them and learned that both of them were in their early 20s and one of the cooks is the owners son I went to culinary school in Italy. He’s been cooking at the restaurant for a very long time and is about to be embarking to a pastry school in New York City, dreams of either opening his own restaurant when he returns or taking over the family restaurant if it works out down the road. One thing is for sure… you’re bound to have an incredible experience here and even more incredible food!

Call before you go. They close the entire restaurant for private parties during hours that they are posted as open.

We went here the other night. The food was good but the service was a comedy of errors with a strange lack of acknowledgment. It took the two of us over an hour and a half to get through the meal of just a salad and pizza. First, the kitchen was backed up so it took a while for our pizza to arrive. That's fine and happens . One of the two pizzas was entirely wrong, and happened to be the most expensive one on the menu. It had meat which wasn't desired (otherwise we would have just kept it) They put in an order to correct it, but the second one didn't arrive for another 40 minutes or so. The other one was getting cold so my partner was entirely done by the time it came. Then, when we got the bill, it turned out that they charged us for both the incorrect pizza and the corrected one. I happened to catch it.

The strange thing to me was that they never apologized for any of this, including for charging something like $25 more than they should have, not to mention eating at different times and just taking a really long time. I did not complain at all, just thought it was weird that they didn't acknowledge it and also that they didn't comp us anything. Again, I didn't ask for that, but when it's messed up so badly usually they would just comp something without being asked.

If it's typically like this then you should go there planning to wait, you should double check the order that's being put in for you, and you should also double check the bill that you are given.

Great meal! We had pizzas and pastas, salad and mussels. Everything, especially the sauces, was delicious and we had great service. The lasagna was the star of the table.

The food was good, if a little bland. Had broken glass in our salad, but they replaced it with zero fuss, which brought the service up to 3 stars. Otherwise had to add salt and pepper to the salad to have any flavor. The pizza crust had no flavor at all, though the sauce was super good and the anchovies were nicely flavorful. Wine list was fine, if wildly overpriced. Portions are huge. The decor was... industrial with touches of blue, so no personality. And the water cups were plastic fake jars. Just kind of an odd experience overall, considering the reviews.

1st night in Steamboat Springs walked in & was welcomed with a smile. Cocktails were excellent $30 total.
We shared a huge salad & Bolognese. Took a chocolate Gelato to go. Food $52 total. Our waiter Nestor Vidales was the best! Drinks & food were served promptly & Nestor was friendly, knowledgeable about menu & efficient.
