We were here to celebrate our anniversary and it was a great choice. Our server was very attentive and we particularly enjoyed the soup of the day.
Wonderful meal at Diva as always. The server was welcoming & attentive, drinks & wine delicious, & the food was fantastic. Quiet, romantic vibe but not at all stuffy. We enjoyed the carpaccio, soup of the day (ube curry), pork chop, & scallops. Looking forward to the next visit!
We loved our experience with Cafe Diva. We come every year and have the best food, service, and ambiance. Our server was Johna and she was kind, professional ,through and fun. Very sweet. Looking forward to returning to Cafe Diva on our next trip to Steamboat Springs.
Our experience at Café Diva was wonderful. From start to finish, the service was impeccable - warm and energetic welcome, thorough knowledge and explaining of the menu, very well-paced flow of service. Ambience was perfect - just the right level of lighting and music. The food was wonderful! Highly recommend the Peanut Butter and Bacon Sandwiches starter - the flavors were incredible. There were four of us and between us we had the lamb shank, the beef tenderloin, and the venison entrees. All entrees were substantial and delicious! For dessert we took our servers advise and had the crème brulle - YUMMY!! To top it all off, I had shared that it was my husband's 60th birthday and they put a candle on his dessert and sang happy birthday without my asking. Would highly recommend Café Diva for a lovely, upscale dining experience!
Casey, our server, has always provided exceptionally warm and professional service! He is a wealth of knowledge and is acutely aware of the nuances and vibes of each party. Jeremy, the sommelier, was not only knowledgeable about the wines but passionate as well! He was relatable and shared just as much information as needed, with more in the wings. The food is always exceptional and this was no different. I feel so grateful that we have a fine dining establishment in our community. Of all the places I have been around the world, Cafe Diva is my absolute favorite.
Still consistently the best service and food in Steamboat! We eat here every time we visit.
Food and service were impeccable as always. You can count on Diva for a wonderful evening.
One of our favorite Steamboat restaurants....great food and ambience. Hats off to Chef Kate!
We came here for our first trip to steamboat and it was a great experience! We especially loved speaking with the sommelier, Jeffery, who really made our night special. He went above and beyond and created a fantastic atmosphere. We will be back next time we come to steamboat!

Cafe Diva is the finest restaurant in town. From start to finish, from walking in the door and being greeted to walking out and being thanked, everything is perfection. The staff is amazing, professional, knowledgeable and very friendly all at the same time. The pacing of service is always great and attentive. The food is top notch and after 20+ years of dining there still the best. Chef Kate, Casey, Daniel and Jeffery make every evening there special, always!

One of the best restaurants in Steamboat. Food is always amazing and the wine selection is great. Jeffrey is great in helping you select a bottle of wine and get us the best wine for our dinner.

Highly recommend Cafe Diva! Service was great and the food is amazing.
We ordered the pb and bacon sandwich appetizer and I was skeptical at first but it was delicious! Followed by the Cacio E Pepe salad and crab and tomato soup with the venison as the entree. 10/10 all around!

I was genuinely surprised to have such an world-class experience at a ski resort. The entire team was incredibly polite and knowledgeable, especially the Wine Director. We hadn't explored French Burgundy much before, but they shared so much expertise and helped us discover that it’s actually exactly what we like.
The food was exceptional. We started with the mushroom pâté and smoked duck (excellent), followed by their famous venison—definitely order it medium-rare and you won't regret it. The pork chop with polenta was a very rich, beautiful dish. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we spent 2.5 hours there; the service was perfectly paced, allowing us to truly slow down and savor the evening.

Almost perfect – one unfortunate outlier…
We really wanted to give Cafe Diva five stars because, in nearly every way, this place is outstanding.
We ordered several of their rock-star appetizers, soup, and salad to share, and every single one was excellent. The service was wonderful, the ambiance and location are terrific, and the evening was shaping up to be a home run. Special thanks to Nicholas for taking great care of us.
The only miss was the grand finale. We ordered the Wagyu steak dinner ($165) to split and were genuinely excited for it. Unfortunately, it was shockingly disappointing. It was overcooked on one side, which only made an already very tough piece of meat worse. We didn’t finish it.
To be fair, Nicholas did check in and asked how everything was. We chose not to say anything at the time. We’re not the type to send food back or draw attention, and we didn’t want to make a scene or disrupt the evening.
When someone later came to clear the plates and noticed the uneaten portion, the manager stopped by and, without any prompting, refunded part of the price of that steak. That wasn’t necessary, but it was appreciated and handled professionally.
Excluding what we believe was an anomaly, this place is a solid 10. Wonderful service, great atmosphere, and a menu that clearly knows what it’s doing. We would absolutely return and still recommend Cafe Diva without hesitation.
Just hopefully not a repeat of that Wagyu.

Another amazing meal at Café Diva! My wife and I have been dining here since 2006 and have never had a bad experience—that kind of consistency says everything. Today Elza was our server, and she was outstanding: attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. The food, as always, was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. Café Diva continues to be one of our favorite places in Steamboat Springs, and we can’t wait to come back again.
