Location can't be beat, right on the Yampa River! Really cool vibe and rooftop bar to checkout as well. Fantastic wait staff, friendly and prompt. Tasty bbq and apps. Quality drinks, try the Smoked Old Fashioned!

Best happy hour in Steamboat! Service was great as well as the wings! Riverside location and had a one man band playing in the back yard while we were there. We were seated in the backyard at our request. Fantastic barbecue and wings were offered as a wet sauce or dry rub option. The dry rub was great!! Will definitely be returning on our next trip!

Great place to go for a casual bite. We had the wings and a few sides and they were delicious. Specialty cocktails were also great. Would definately recommend for a happy hour. There was a large party at the bar that was initially very noisy but toned down a bit after awhile.

Good variety of menu items. Service was friendly and food came out quickly. I thought the smoked turkey on my salad was delicious. We all liked the dry rub wings and it was hard to choose just one BBQ sauce to put on it. We sat in the back yard and it was nice to be near the river. We will definitely be going again soon!

Fun place close to the river! Service was excellent, as were the drinks. Food was just not very good. The meat (smoked chicken, turkey, brisket) was all really dry. Mac n cheese was meh.

We had excellent service from Chris, and Eme gave us a 4-top table inside but right by the outside deck. Perfect! The Brussels sprouts are my favorite. The brisket is always very good. Thank you!

Great new addition in Steamboat. Along the Yampa River with decent views of the rushing water. Service was excellent and the BBQ food was great considering we live in Nashville where there are many amazing options. I highly recommend. Thank you.

Cute atmosphere but food was underwhelming. Came in expecting Texas BBQ but brisket was dry enough to be jerky. Turkey was only slightly better. We had a reservation but were 5 minutes late trying to find parking and they gave up our table so we had to wait 30 minutes. Prices are reasonable for Steamboat but I wouldn't return.
This is a nice spot to hang out! It is rather loud for a family to have dinner. The chili had great flavor, but was only lukewarm. The baby back ribs were the consistency of spareribs, so not as expected, and overall not great. Chopped brisket sandwich was excellent & the hamburger was great. The cheesesteak brisket sandwich was very fatty and over done by green chilies. Would not order that again.
Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Ayla/Aila (spelling?!?!?) was our server and she was great! We have two teens and one of them has autism- so sitting still and waiting is not easy for him. Our drinks and food were served quickly! The menu is good, something for everyone. We will eat here again!!!
Great looking place, food was great and staff was very friendly and accomodating. There are some great views of Howleson Hill if you can get a table on that side of the restaurant but the whole place is done very nicely. Food was ready in a reasonable time frame and drinks were also good. I will visit next time I'm in Steamboat for sure.

We truly want Ice house to be excellent. Excellent in the way Texas BBQ is beyond excellent. Sadly its not. Keep working the recipes Ice House! Oh! Summer is better time to visit. The backyard is awesome.
