Cute atmosphere but food was underwhelming. Came in expecting Texas BBQ but brisket was dry enough to be jerky. Turkey was only slightly better. We had a reservation but were 5 minutes late trying to find parking and they gave up our table so we had to wait 30 minutes. Prices are reasonable for Steamboat but I wouldn't return.

This is a nice spot to hang out! It is rather loud for a family to have dinner. The chili had great flavor, but was only lukewarm. The baby back ribs were the consistency of spareribs, so not as expected, and overall not great. Chopped brisket sandwich was excellent & the hamburger was great. The cheesesteak brisket sandwich was very fatty and over done by green chilies. Would not order that again.
Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Ayla/Aila (spelling?!?!?) was our server and she was great! We have two teens and one of them has autism- so sitting still and waiting is not easy for him. Our drinks and food were served quickly! The menu is good, something for everyone. We will eat here again!!!
Great looking place, food was great and staff was very friendly and accomodating. There are some great views of Howleson Hill if you can get a table on that side of the restaurant but the whole place is done very nicely. Food was ready in a reasonable time frame and drinks were also good. I will visit next time I'm in Steamboat for sure.

We truly want Ice house to be excellent. Excellent in the way Texas BBQ is beyond excellent. Sadly its not. Keep working the recipes Ice House! Oh! Summer is better time to visit. The backyard is awesome.

Our experience at yampa river Ice house is always amazing!!!!!!!! The food here is fabulous the drinks are great! The service and staff is top notch! We love this place it's a must go!

It's a small place and it can get loud but super nice wait staff, well priced drinks and the food was very good- the 4 of us shared the wings, full order of ribs and the brisket. The selection of sauces was excellent, we enjoyed them all. Side dishes were not particularly memorable and on the small side.

This is basic BBQ. Everything is alacarte. The ribs were good- very tender. We had sausage as well- literally one very small sausage- not worth $9. Sides are small and not shareable. Brussel sprouts were excellent. Reasonable prices for family of four. Good atmosphere. We'd fine again.
We really enjoyed the meal. We had several of the BBQ meats and each were delicious. Service was courteous and prompt. Collard greens and cornbread were excellent. "Gold" mustard based BBQ sauce had just a bit of heat and was excellent. They had many sauces to choose from. Overall, it was a great experience.

Loved this place! It was a wonderful dining experience. Service was amazing and I hardly ever rate any place unless it really impressed me or was horrible. This place was top notch. Will be back next time we visit steamboat.
Great setting. They have really done a great job with the interior of this restaurant. All of the employees were super friendly and helpful. The food was good, leaving us with a very enjoyable experience. We would Definity go back.

Our server, Mike, made our experience! We enjoyed chatting with him & his overall honesty with how the restaurant was doing. The food was ok but we understand y'all are a new restaurant. We will try it again because we really enjoyed it overall.
Service was great and the ambiance was nice. The food was just ok... the brisket was bland and dry. It tasted like it was cooked several days ago. The pulled pork was delish! The chicken was good but a really small portion.

Enjoyed a lovely dinner with friends at YRI. As Texans, we can confirm the Texas-style barbecue is legit and very good. Ambience is refined and a little incongruous with the sports bar theme the restaurant is also trying to pull off. Lots of big screen tvs decorate the walls and the place is very loud. But the food is great and our server, Suzanne, was excellent and very friendly. Nice wine offered and good beers on tap. And they serve Texas beer Shiner Bock!

Fantastic bbq joint in a ski town? AND at a reasonable price? Unheard of! The icehouse is small inside but has a great view and nice bar area. Alexa was a great waitress, she recommended the 2 meats 1 side deal - ribs were meaty with a tasty dry rub, brisket was tender and sauce was delicious, mac was cheesy. Old fashioned was on point as well. I highly recommend this place!
