Service here is not the best to say the least. The menu said three tacos beans and rice for 25 dollars. They tried giving me and my friend just the 3 tacos for 25 dollars. Insane. I asked the server why we didn't get bean and rice and his answer was they were out of rice. They proceeded to give us beans and fries instead. My girlfriend did get rice in her plate. The last of it im assuming because if was awful. Overcooked and dry. I asked for shrimp tacos
I literally got two tiny shrimp in each taco. I took a bit of one of them and got nothing but lettuce. They try to take advantage of people but I wasn't going to stay quiet. I told my server and they did remake the tacos with actual shrimp in them. That's the only reason im giving two stars instead of one. Overall it was a really bad experience. Not to mention they are not cheap at all. Definitely not going back.

We celebrated my husband's 80th birthday with friends and family. The food, drinks and service were outstanding! The staff was incredible and made it a memorable experience. They joined in singing, cut the cake for us and we could not have chosen a better restaurant in Steamboat to celebrate.

It took over 30 minutes to get our food and it wasn't crowded. Then got the worst taco salad of my life. Not recommended.

Slow service. Took 1.5 hours to get food and one member of our party never received food. Place is very unethical and if you question your bill(when they double charge you) they ask you to leave.

We had a reservation for a group of 9 of us. The service was awful. We all got our food 2 hours later but one of our parties never got food and we found out then that they didn't even have the item on the menu. Never got an “I’m sorry” nothing offered etc. So overly priced. Will never come back. We ordered a pitcher of Margaritas. The menu said $70. We got our bill to find out it’s $70 a glass they charge.

This was a terrible dining experience. One of our diners never received his meal. He was told his order wasn't in stock once we all received our entrees. We received no apology. The service was beyond slow. We had to ask for waters after we received our drinks. Chips and salsa were minimal. They are completely understaffed and it's obvious. Most importantly, their business practices are beyond unethical. The margarita menu lists no specifics on pricing. We ordered a Billionaire pitcher and the server never specified that it is NOT served by the pitcher but BY THE GLASS. $72 per glass. With all the great restaurants in Steamboat, I would suggest finding somewhere else to eat!

The biggest and most delicious and unique plate of chile relleno we ever had! Smothered with a creamy rajas style sauce with sliced poblanos and spinach with rice, beans AND shredded lettuce, this feast was perfect for 2 of us! Chips were delicious as well as the margaritas; divine! Downstairs in the basement, but lively decorations and welcoming staff. Sadly, we weren't able to try the famous Queso Chorizo as it was just being made for the evening and we were there for a late lunch. We thought we were ordering that but got the plain queso that was a bit too plain.

Not bad. Steep price for the quality.

The only good thing that could be mentioned about this place is that the servers and host were nice (although forgetful). The location is in a basement and very stuffy, when we arrived there was the strongest mop/colorex smell too. The food was horrible, guacamole was smelly, watery and brown color. Everything we tried (steak quesadilla, shrimp, fajita, even the tortilla chips and the beans were inedible). Messy bathrooms and no toilet paper . No wonder the place was empty during lunch time, save your money and skip this place.

Terrific Mexican food option right on the main drag in downtown Steamboat. I tried to get into Salt&Lime but was turned off by the 90 minute wait so I went across the street to Del Mezcal and had a great experience. First of all, there was no wait. This place has quite a few tables and at first I was a little concerned there were only 4-5 other groups in the restaurant (generally, that's a bad sign), but I had a great experience. Our waitress, Perla, was exceptional - she really shared her opinions on what we should order (awesome birria) and what we might not like. The ambiance in this place is very pleasant: very authentic Mexican decor and cuisine. My birria was delicious and all of my dining partners were very impressed with their dinners as well. I don't understand why this place isn't more highly rated - the menu has more options than Salt & Lime, food is great, service is great and there's no wait. Additionally, there were 20+ draft beer options - yum.

Great little place tucked away in the downtown area. The food was very good and it was super fun hanging out in the bar area playing shuffle board while enjoying our drinks. The staff is very friendly!

The perfect spot for a comfort meal. Generous portion sizes (could barely fit our meals and appetizers on a table!) and delicious food. Everyone in our group enjoyed our meals and drinks. Service was prompt and attentive.

I have added a photo of the $29 NACHOS!!! Once you take the chips with nothing on them out I’d say it took them 4 dollars to make this plate. It is absolutely ridiculous that they think it’s okay to charge this amount for this amount of food! They really were sub par nachos as well. Very unfortunate for a business to charge something like this. The staff was very nice.
