My family and I have been dining at this restaurant every time we visit town, and we’ve never been disappointed. Every dish we’ve tried has been delicious. I’ve tried almost every dish on the menu during my visits, and I’m not a local from Texas. I often talk about this restaurant, and I wish there was a place like it in Austin, Texas. But if you’re ever in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, you have to try it. Everything is incredible, so I highly recommend it. If you’re a first-time visitor, go for it and try a few different dishes. You won’t be disappointed!

The bison carpaccio was amazing, so amazing we ordered two servings and my grade schooler wanted to go back for more the next day. The pickle jar is good as a stand alone app during happy hour but avoid ordering if also doing dinner as the same pickled veg is served with some/most entrees. The smoked ribeye was flavorful thanks to the chimchurri but was a bit tough and I wouldn’t order it again. The evening’s special was a tomato and watermelon salad which was flavorful and well presented. I’d go back in the future, for their happy hour small plates and also the carpaccio. The happy hour menu was much more kid friendly than the dinner menu as well. Also, a shout out to Tom and Kelly for their great service.

Have to say this is my wife’s and my favorite restaurant in Steamboat! We we lucky enough to have sat outside on the porch here in July. But have to say the inside seems just as nice! The hostess was so polite and professional.

The food is outstanding! Lots to choose from and everything was prepared perfectly! We had 4 small plates. Plenty of food for both of us. And we were hungry. Tuna Poke, Bison carpaccio, Burrata and Pow Pow shrimp! All light, healthy and filling. We finished off with Coconut Pie, which had pineapple, a perfect fit. All unbelievably good!! They have lots of other things as well, seems like the Fried Chicken was served quite a bit. Oh and had two drinks each. A glass of white wine which was really good. But the old fashion was even better I had two killer Tito’s martinis! Just wish they had normal martini glasses but the ones they have work well. Just my preference. I had killer coffee, Americana with dessert!! So good!

Now for the service, it was perfect! Aiden our server was so professional and polite, his timing was perfect for the shareable’s, Aiden is going to be the owner one day, if he keeps up his qualities. Or have his own restaurant?

I was totally impressed with all aspects of Laundry and can’t wait to come back. Been to a lot of places in town but this one so far seems to be the absolute best in all aspects!! I think you will agree once you try it! Five stars all the way! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I don’t usually write reviews, but I was genuinely disappointed with my experience at this restaurant.

I was in Steamboat for my bachelorette (a very tame group—we were just going out for dinner and cocktails). My sister made a reservation for 14 people and confirmed over the phone that we’d only be coming in for drinks after dinner. Despite that, when we arrived, the host was unwelcoming and acted like we were a burden. It felt like we were being judged just for showing up, even though we had a reservation and had clearly communicated our plans.

The host—and possibly a manager or another staff member—rolled their eyes when we mentioned we were only there for drinks. I asked if we could stand at the bar or use the high tops, and they looked at me like I was crazy, saying the space only fit 10 people. That seemed odd given how open the area was.

We were seated at two separate tables in the dining area—one for 10 and another for 4—which added to the awkwardness of the situation. At that point, I wanted to leave, but the restaurant requires a $25 per person hold for reservations, so we felt stuck. It was clear we weren’t welcome.

The only bright spot was our server for the table of 10—he was kind, attentive, and handled our group really well. That’s the only reason I’m giving this place 2 stars instead of 1.

Recommendation: If your restaurant isn’t set up to accommodate a group of 14 for drinks, don’t confirm that it’s okay. It sets the wrong expectation and leads to a poor experience. I visit Steamboat often, but I won’t be returning here.

We read up on their happy hour and booked ahead for a table. The happy hour menu was spectacular. The drink specials kept us ordering more. We had the fried chicken, brisket potatoes, seasonal greens and tacos. Each dish came out fresh and fast! We had planned on staying for the oyster specials but got full! Everything that came out of the kitchen looked fantastic. The brisket potatoes and shrimp tacos were my favorite. Loved our time here. No Pics!! Too busy enjoying our experience

Went for our anniversary. It was our second visit and did not disappoint. Pork chop was outstanding, as was everything else. A favorite spot, and not just for Steamboat!

The food was fine, drinks were what you’d expect, but it’s the most unnecessarily pretentious staff I’ve encountered in a long time. The restaurants by the river were twice as expensive without any pretentious atmosphere.

LOVED this place! Trendy, chilled vibe with a nice varied menu. We tried all the sharing plates which were fantastic. Highlights are the pork cheeks and brisket.
