Great restaurant. Very authentic and pasta is handmade, which is hard to find. I loved the big menu that gave me reason to come back many times! Hamachi Crudo was to die for! Everything was excellent. Only complaint (and its minor) is that the prosciutto was cut a bit too thick.

Highest quality food and drinks in Steamboat! Though specialty cocktails were expensive, they were excellent! And the fried artichoke appetizer was the THEE BEST appetizer I've ever enjoyed! Our waitress too, though slammed, was very pleasant, conscious, and efficient about tending to each table.

This was by far the best homemade fresh pasta I have ever had- and I'm picky as hell!!! I had the tagliatelle- with just butter and Parmesan cheese - unbelievable - it's worth the trip! Other folks in our party had Eggplant Parmesan,and clam linguine— all excellent as well! Service was great too - thank you, Allie!

I set a reservation 2 weeks prior to arrival. On arrival with my wife we were not created and stood at the front Podium waiting for someone to acknowledge our arrival. This took about 5 minutes. Next we were sat a table waited at least 20 minutes to order food. That eas strike 2. Then the waiter arrived with no apology. I said you are personally quite busy tonight strike 3. We ordered bread, and waited some more. Turns out he burned the bread. Ok mistakes happen. Then we received our ordered food, but the broccoli was un-etible, super bitter. Waiter says "sorry about that*. No offer to replace the vegetable. That was quite surprising to my wife and I both. We arranged to be at this restaurant intentionally as it's been 21 years since I had been here. We were here specifically to celebrate our one year anniversary. We're too old Coots who've been married before and are in our 60s. Bottom line the food was okay the service was horrible and there was no acknowledgment our anniversary other than the note he read out loud to himself at the podium when he asked if we had a reservations. He did mention after we made payment that he wished us happy anniversary. Bottom line I'm voting with my feet and won't be going back. The weekend was finished steam what was awesome and the other two restaurants we went to were made aware in advance as this one was that it was special and that we were celebrating our anniversary. On both occasions the our house and E3 both went above and beyond even offering complimentary champagne and dessert not to mention a signed card from all the servers Wishing us well. Not the same place as it once was. NEXT!

Excellent service and a great happy hour! Our only complaint was the tartare and porcini pizza had too much going on so the flavors were muddled. Too much dressing on the tartare so the beef flavour was lost. The pizza was just too much everything. Italian food should let the flavours of good Ingredients shine. The meatballs , short rib pasta, and cheese pizza were excellent

Very consistently great. Food always is the best Italian in Steamboat. Menu has something for all. You have to make reservations well in advance due to their popularity. Been there many times and will continue to eat there with family and friends. Also, meals are more than reasonably priced—good value for your $.

The food and service were great. Our only complaint was that we sat inside and the table next to us had 4 of the loudest people ever. This wasn't the restaurant's fault, but it made our anniversary dinner a bit of a downer. In the future, we'll be sure to ask for a different table if we're seated next to really loud talkers.

Mambos is an annual treat while in Steamboat Springs. No other will do. This experience was no exception. Absolutely the best Italian food and the service is always on point. Highly recommend
Delicious Italian food. Ample portions. Love that they serve rapini! Happy Hour is terrific too! We saved Mambo for our last dinner meal! It was great!
