The food was delicious, but the real stand out was the service. The wait staff was courteous, friendly and attentive in a way I haven't experienced in a very long time. Yes, it was pricey, but you totally get what you pay for.
My husband had the bone-in ribeye, and I had the peppered elk loin. Both were very excellent. Prices were extremely high. However, your meals included the salad bar and 2 sides.
Food is always consistent, but has gotten very pricey! Might have to cut back, but still love Ore House.
The prices at the Ore House jumped way up. $250 for 2 people with drinks and dinner . That's way too expensive for what is offered. We enjoyed dinner until we got the check . That was crazy expensive!
This was our second time dining at Ore House. The food is very good, standard steak house fare in a western atmosphere. We will like return when in the area.
Received some gift cards and came for my brother's birthday to check it out. Loved the prime rib and the food, we appreciated the frequency of service as well! Overall, would love to come back next time we're in town!
Best steaks in town! Great service! Always bring my out-of- town friends here. Keeps authentic Boat's atmosphere.
We stopped into the Ore House for a Sunday night dinner and had a fantastic experience. We booked a reservation but ended up coming in early just to see if they could fit us in. The staff was able to accommodate no problem, although I wouldn’t recommend trying that on a Friday or Saturday night! The whole staff was super friendly and attentive, but our server Adam was a standout. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and personable. There was another big table in our section that was pretty rowdy but Adam still made sure we had everything we needed. He’s clearly a pro, and the whole team took great care of the section. The food is great, classic steakhouse fare done right! It’s not the fanciest atmosphere which we appreciated, but the food was delicious and we left completely stuffed and satisfied. I highly recommend the Ore House if you’re looking for a laid back classic Colorado steakhouse after a long day on the mountain. From the salad bar to the prime rib to the surprise cinnamon rolls, we had a great experience and will definitely be coming back. Big thanks to Adam and the rest of the staff for making it a great experience.
I would come for the salad bar alone, but the excellent steaks and prime rib are a nice added bonus
Good quality food—“throwback” salad bar with good quality selections. Bison ribeye was delicious. Western ambiance.

We enjoyed the prime rib and salad bar. Nice lost western atmosphere and our server Nicholas was great.
We had such a hard time getting our party of 9 (including 3 kids) a reservation in town. Ore house took us immediately and we got to sit in a very cute upstairs area right next to the fireplace. Service was wonderful and drinks were always full. Most of us had the redfish which was great. The French dip was excellent and the price rib is a must try - probably could’ve been cut using just with a fork and it melted in your mouth. Definitely recommend!
Great salad bar. Terrible food. If you go to
Applebees you would be impressed over this place. Absolutely disgusting. 5’6 bodyguard lost prevention lil guy is stressing you as you exit. Go somewhere else
Prime rib was chewy, not very flavorful, I don't see how this was the rave people told me about. I ordered prime rib in a place known for it , so it wasn't like I went off the menu , etc. underwhelmed. And not cheap. Don't mind paying for great meal but this was middle of road
Steak wasn’t that great honestly, they had a good salad bar and sides though.
