Ore House at the Pine Grove - Steamboat Springs

Our server was amazing. He always says we've had him a couple times and he even remembered it was our anniversary made a very special.

The prime rib was delicious. We loved everything about the restaurant and the food. Service was excellent.

Ore House is one of the best restaurants in Steamboat Springs. We had great food, great service and overall a great time.

Review is skewed by the Fall specials....prime rib, salad bar, cinnamon rolls for $19.95 for the next six weeks. As always, the staff and ambiance were exceptional.

My family and I have always loved this place but our most recent visit was a disappointment. The salad bar was delicious as always, meals were good, but the service the worst we have received in Steamboat. Every server we've ever had at The Ore House has been outstanding - friendly, conscientious and makes the experience fun. Unfortunately, this female sever did not provide that same level we are used to. We will definitely request our favorite servers in the future visits and decline to be seated with her.

Very disappointing. Very expensive steak was 1/4" thick and flavorless. Vegetables almost raw. Would not recommend eating here. Was sat in back room with several large parties and it was very loud. Our server was very nice and attentive.

The food was very good. Filet tender and had very good flavor. Highly recommended the House Potatoes. Staff was very friendly and attentive.

Ore House is the most consistent place in Steamboat Great food especially the steaks!! Awesome Salad Bar. The general manager AJ is very attentive Bama is the Best Bar Tender in the Valley

We always love visiting the Ore House! Such great food and atmosphere. The salad bar is the best!! We had Filet and Trout with crab & bearnaise sauce. The bread and cinnamon roll basket is an extra treat too!

We have always looked forward to dining at The Ore House when we visited Steamboat Springs. However, this year we were a bit disappointed with our meal. The sirloin had a chunk of fat in the middle and parts of it were grisly. The broccoli was yellowish and undercooked, tough, and lacking flavor. We always dine during the Sunset Menu time and split an entree' to make it more affordable for us. They have always offered a split plate and charged a bit for the extra salad bar and 2 sides. But this year that charge had increased to $19 and they also charged my husband who ordered 2 house potato sides because he didn't care for the other choices. He was charged $5 for the second potato side even though it was in place of broccoli or rice. So we were shocked when our bill was $59 before tax and tip! We realize things have gotten more expensive but unfortunately our fixed incomes are not keeping up! We probably will not be able to continue our tradition of eating there in the future. Thanks for the memories!

My husband & I went to the Ore house to celebrate my birthday. It was our 1st time. The food was excellent, music was from the 70's perfect for our age group. Our server was Tom, he was attentive, informative (regarding the menu) and very pleasant. I received a free dessert which Tom boxed up & even added whipped cream & a candle. He made my birthday very special!

My friends and I eat it Ore House often before we go to a Strings Concert. This time we ordered crispy calamari for a starter. Unfortunately, we both had trouble chewing them because they were so tough. We told the waiter and he took it back to the kitchen. The waiter, Jeff, was kind enough to take it off our bill.

I had visited the Ore House previously but my friends were first timers. We all absolutely enjoyed the entire experience. The food was fabulous and the employees who served us were so professional and courteous and made the entire meal a real blessing.
