I showed up on the wrong date, and the staff was so accommodating. We sat at the bar where Cory took great care of us while she was bartending. She knew the menu cold, and made some great suggestions. The food was amazing! Love the whole concept and will be a favorite in Steamboat!

What an experience! This restaurant is set at the base of the mountain on a golf course, so the views are spectacular, but the food is INCREDIBLE. So unique, fresh, interesting, and absolutely delicious (order the charred pea salad!)The service is as great as the food... the GM was present throughout our experience making sure everything was just right. They couldn't improve upon this meal if they tried. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed the hot stone steak and salmon with Kim chee and pickles but the fried rice was the highlight. The scallion pancakes were a bit tough and lacked flavor. Overall we had a wonderful evening and will return for their next theme.

One of our favorite restaurants in Steamboat Springs! Recommend the mushroom bao buns, hamachi crudo, any proteins on a hot plate, and miso black cod. Also note that their menu is seasonal so expect different items after early 2024

Wonderful experience at the Periodic Table in Steamboat. This season's theme was modern Asian and it did not disappoint. From the appetizers to the main course special, to the personable staff this is a memorable experience all around. Can't wait to see what the Summer season theme will be.

Our group of 5 was greeted by Abbey, our hostess, with hot white tea, upon entering the foyer. The food theme for the evening was Asian, and it was really, really good. Good to the point where we all had to try each other's food because of what we saw and had to think if we liked our dishes better than the other person's. Corrie was our server, and did a great job of attending to the table and advising on the dishes beyond the menu descriptions. These were all great choices: egg drop soup, prawns, pickled veggies, mushroom ramen (the broth was amazing), and tuna and salmon on the hot rock. The beef coulette was equally good, the only "beef" was that the feature dish was a crab rangoon preparation of the roulette, and had more cheese than crab as the topping. Other than that, the food and service was spot on. We absolutely had no room for dessert!

Wonderful dinner! Given the reviews I couldn't understand how we were able to get a reservation on a holiday weekend, except that it's not downtown... still don't understand it because the food was interesting and creative and the ambiance was terrific. Like an exclusive, unusual club tucked away from the crowds.

Wow! Again Periodic went “all out” creating not just a menu but an experience! Our server was amazing, all the staff members were in themed ( Asian) dress, we were offered tea as we entered and the food was spectacular!

We had a reservation here, but our hotel shuttle driver wouldn’t drive us out to the restaurant due to a blizzard. Instead of being understanding, the restaurant charged us $150 for missing our reservation. So, can’t say the food was good or bad but I can say that it’s a poorly managed restaurant.

Really wonderful overall. I love the Asian theme this season!! Always great food. The service was very good, atmosphere was nice. Pork Buns were fantastic. The wagyu hot plate with the black garlic sauce was really good (though a bit thick cut imo). Definitely recommend it.

Cocktails were great and service was too, we had several appetizers, hot stones, and an entree. Very underwhelming and incredibly salty on most of the dishes. Boa buns were fantastic though. Staff were supper friendly and hospitable. Hopefully the kitchen was just having an off night but not sure I would try again.

It was delicious and the service was excellent! We arrived during Happy Hour and were very happy with the food options available and the drinks were delicious too. Dinner was great—-we loved the steak, fried chicken, vegetable tempura, and noodles. Overall a lovely experience. So glad we went!

I rarely feel compelled enough to leave a Google review however this dining experience made a lasting impression on me. I traveled to Steamboat for the first time and have been here roughly a week, eating at the supposed best spots in town. I left Periodic Table for my final dinner slot because the menu seemed innovative and the reviews were glowing. Not only was this restaurant the best dining experience in town, it was 3 levels above anything I have had in Steamboat, and one of the best dinners I’ve had this year. The staff was warm and welcoming; the evening began with some hot tea upon arrival in the rustic but elegant lodge. Our waitress was superb, walking us through the Sake options that best paired with our apps: Bao Buns with pork belly, shrimp dumplings, and hamachi crudo. Each dish was artfully plated, executed to perfection, and well balanced. The entrees continued the trend; duck two ways (seared breast and spicy duck leg) and pork belly (less fatty and more composed than any pork belly I’ve had in the past). Both of these entrees knocked my socks off. The duck was accompanied by stir fry noodles that would stand up to any high-level Asian establishment, and the pork came with soft sweet potatoes and charred bok choi. I was so dumbfounded by the culinary excellence that Chef Charlie came by to visit and hear my opinion. I told him that I have dined at many Michelin star-studded establishments that served food less refined and masterfully crafted as this establishment, all with such humility and tact. Dessert was magnificent - needless to say. If you don’t visit this gem during your trip to Steamboat, you are missing out. Cancel your other reservation and prepare to have your mind blown at Periodic Table.
