Overrated, underperformed. Nice atmosphere. Our server was unfortunately sub par and that may have contributed to the food experience. The bread and butter was awesome, the salads were really good. My daughter an amazing mocktail and the Duck 2 Ways. She said the duck was very rich. I had a NY Strip. Maybe $58 is normal for these parts though it was twice what it was worth. I ordered it medium rare and it presented as rare. We had waited so long that I ate it anyway....
Our experience at Primrose is the reason why it is worth it to go out to nice dinners. It was more than just great food, it was an entire experience. When we walked in, the manager, Jennifer, was beyond friendly and immediately knew when we said our names that it was our wedding anniversary. Upon being seated we were welcomed with celebratory sparkling wine and a sign that said happy anniversary. Our server, Nick, was absolutely fantastic. He made us feel at home, was fun to talk...
