Never disappoints. Always solid food. I recommend the red and green salsas with chips, the bacon wrapped jalapeños, queso fundido and any of the tacos. However, the nightly specials are now my go-to. Last night was the best whole fried fish I've had. It came with fresh tortillas, rice, beans and a mango salsa. The fish was crisscrossed with a knife, breaded then fried. Our table had two of them. It was unbelievable.

Good location downtown with a great upstairs patio. We are from TX where chips and salsa are always complimentary, so paying extra for them is new to us. My kid's, kid's menu steak burrito may have been more food than my three taco plate. The taco flavors were good, but they are small and all you get...again used to rice and beans with a taco plate down south. Overall great atmosphere, food is decent, but overpriced for what you get IMO.

We kicked off our evening on the rooftop patio, watching the sun set behind Sleeping Giant. The alpenglow was absolutely stunning—such a beautiful and peaceful way to start the night.
From there, everything just kept getting better. The food at Salt & Lime was fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Our waiter Luke was incredibly attentive and just an all-around great guy, making sure we were well taken care of without ever feeling rushed.
Tameson, the manager, stood out as a true leader. You could tell her team respects her, and that positive energy flowed through the entire restaurant. Everyone seemed genuinely happy to be there, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable.
Highly recommend for the food, the vibes, and that unbeatable rooftop view!

Food is really good here! Got the Naked guac and it was average but the chips were seasoned really well! Birria taco plate was awesome! The sauce had a ton of flavor and the beef was tender and fell apart. We also got fish tacos and everyone loved them as well

Salt and Lime is a lovely Mexican food restaurant in downtown Steamboat. I visited over Memorial Day weekend with seven friends from around the country and everyone was impressed with the quality food and fun atmosphere. I recommend making a reservation and the fajitas barbacoa.

Mixed bag. I really enjoyed mine (enchilada). Chips and salsa were great. Quesadilla was enjoyed by the person who got that at our table. Kids said their burritos were “okay” and wife didn’t love taco salad.
We had reservations here, but when we got there, they had already gave away our table. We ended up having to wait a few minutes, then we were seated right next to the door where there was no room because people were waiting right on top of us. It is very nicely decorated inside. The food is very good, nice and spicy.

We always enjoy salt + lime! I am a big fan of the salads and my partner loves the tacos. The bison queso is a crowd favorite and the guac is flavorful and fresh too. We like that they supply you with ample chips and don’t charge you for more baskets. The bison burrito is excellent and the churros are a fun close to a delicious meal.
Only docked for one star for service as our service this last visit was adequate and they did not share with us what was on happy hour special until after bringing us our drinks so we paid full price for beer.
Recommend making a reservation during peak season - winter or summer! Mud season allowed for a bit of flexibility during our visit.

They were incredibly busy, but the hostess created an additional space for us and the server (Eliel R) was awesome! Fun and friendly. Give the barbacoa, chicken tinga tacos and anything they have with pork carnitas a try!!!
