Update a few years later. This place still sucks. Serve yourself from the bar. Worst pizza I’ve ever had. How are they still open???

July 10th, about 5:30 my wife, myself and 2 year old were sat for dinner. About 45 minutes after ordering our food, we asked our waiter when it might be ready. Thinking they may be short staffed, we weren't upset, just trying to make sure our baby got home in time for bedtime. "I forgot to ring it in." Wow. Ok, well, that sucks, but ok. Food comes out about an hour after ordering. Fine. Then dude is gone. Disappeared. Needing to get our check and leave, I finally spotted the "manager" bussing tables. No sense of what was happening, I explained to her the situation. Not one apology, not one complimentary beer (gesture, I care less about the money). Just hands us our check and walks away. Can't tell you when I've seen such disregard for customer service or complete lack of care. Clearly a poorly managed restaurant that's not worth coming back. I even tried contacting the owner and never heard back. Yuck.

Came here for a late night feed.
We ordered the pizza and a salad. The salad was plain and seemed to come out of a packet. The dressing was sweet. Luckily, we didn't come here for the salad. We just felt we needed some healthy food with dinner.
The pizza was very good, and the addition of parmesan and chilli flake to it to the next level. From the perfectly cooked base, super tasty sauce, and fresh toppings, the pizza really hit the spot.
I know it maybe off season but only having food runners meant you had to do everything yourself from drinks to cutlery, plates, and condiments. This was the only downside for the dinner.

Always a cool place to sit outside, enjoy the mountain and kick back. Would have liked to be waited on instead of having to order drinks at the bar. I get it though - no one has enough help.

Kid-friendliness: Beautiful outdoor seating with games for kids (big and small) and a creek to wade in.

Good pizza for sure. The hummus and ninja ribs were ok. Drinks were very overpriced and not that great. David worked his butt off for our table on the 4th of July. Would go back.

They had no table service. To order one had to stand inline at the bar in back of ten other families place your order and the wait at you table. The staff forgot one of the orders and was told I had to stand back in line and reorder. I have been coming to Slopeside for over 20 years service is now terrible and food mediocre. I hope it is simply a difficulty getting staff, but if it was my first visit I would not be back!!!

I’ve been going to Slopeside for 20 plus years. The new owner has done away with wait staff, so you place your order at the bar, get your own table service, water- and the food is not great anymore. Too bad greed has ruined a true Steamboat tradition. We will not return

Good, friendly service, excellent food, the best burgers and chicken we've had in Steamboat. Kids pizzas are huge and had a little spice to them, definitely a different flavor, but a huge portion. Got really crowded inside with the rain and most tables are cafeteria style, but still had room for all of us.
