I wrote in to the website to ask some questions prior to ordering a birthday cake. Kary wrote back saying she wasn't open the day I needed the cake. When I asked her for a recommendation or could I pick up the cake early, she replied she was closed and that the day she could make me a cake was the day after I needed it. I asked again for a recommendation for another baker. No reply. If she does not respond to a potential customer, then I am dubious she would listen to the details a new customer would need. So based on her inability to listen to her (potential) customer and lack of professionalism or customer service skills, I'd say take your business elsewhere.

I can not believe the customer service that this company lacks. Kary is not kind or friendly. Do not be fooled by her talent she is not someone that you want to give your money to. Absolutely unbelievable

Steamboat Baker did an amazing job with our wedding cake! Kary was super helpful and responsive with our flavor tasting. The cake turned out absolutely beautiful and was so delicious (we got the amaretto flavor). Sadly we only got one bite when we cut the cake but our guests were raving over how good it was. Will definitely be back to get another cake for our anniversary!
