This is a great dive bar, and I love the laid back atmosphere and sitting next to the yampa.
However, the last three times I went there beers weren't cold. Food is mediocre, then again it's a dive bar so you shouldn't expect much.

All in all, 5 stars for atmosphere and nice staff, but even a dive bar should be able to serve cold beers, this the 3 stars overall.

Sunpie's is very laid back and the staff was very friendly. They have plenty of outdoor seating with the Yampa river as the backdrop. Even if you don't have a table right on the riverbank the sound is still quite pleasant. I liked the "seat yourself" order at the bar style of service. One thing to note however is that it will take a long time to get your order out. The menu said something like "if you've waited more than 15 minutes for your food,...
