Awesome aprƩs-ski spot when the sun is shining. Pitchers and a game of stump are a perfect way to wrap up a great day on the slopes.

CLOSE YOUR TABS BEFORE YOU LEAVE.. We come once a year and always stop here. Last year, we noticed our tab left open was very high but we assumed some pitchers got put on the wrong tab. It happens. We didn’t close it because the line was insane and assumed 20 percent would be added to the $200+ tab. However it was significantly higher than that…

This year, my credit card alerted me that my tab was charged 75 percent for leaving it open (again because the line is huge). If this is your policy- so be it I guess. However, my suspicion is that staff are taking liberties on your credit card tabs at the end of the day. Just close your tabs out every time you go for a drink if this is how they operate to protect yourself.

This is a ski town staple. You need to come off the green run to access this place and then you can ski down afterwards. Lots of picnic tables outside and places to stand. Various beer selection. If you want your drink faster, go inside to order. You can also get these sweet sweatshirts for a small price of 75$. Definitely worth the visit.

BE CAREFUL if using a credit card.
I selected a 20% tip on their handheld machine and they charged me a 147% tip!!!
Reached out to TBar and they r not responding to me.
Very disappointing.😩

Great bar and would highly recommend it. However, I’m calling them out on their tip options. 20% is the minimum tip option on your square card reader and from there the machine increases all the way up to 100%. I’m all for tipping but I think we can all agree that having such a high preloaded option is a bit predatory for intoxicated patrons. There’s no reason for a 100% option to be listed that’s what the custom tip option is for. These preloaded options are getting out of hand. Again fun bar but this is a PSA to look at the card reader and not blindly select an option.

The best spot on the mountain, maybe the best place ever? The whole team is on it, really welcoming and efficient. The food, drinks, and tunes are fantastic.

The staff is unprofessional and made an unpleasant experience.

NEVER GO HERE. Paid $35 to park in the lot next to this bar for skiing, no visible signage saying it is restaurant parking only, and nobody said anything about it when we parked. When we got back to the car after the morning we went to cook some hotdogs on our tailgate before leaving. The staff came and informed us that because it is a restaurant parking area technically we can’t do that there. While disappointed we began to pack up. In the 5 minute period of us packing up our chairs and small camp stove, while waiting for the hot pan to cool, the staff sent out 3 more people to tell us we had to leave right now. One of them came up, started screaming in our face inches away at full volume, swearing at us repeatedly. Eventually told us we had to leave the lot ā€œor elseā€, in an outright threatening manner…. Oh and naturally they did not refund the parking after forcing us out after barely half the day…. Nightmare

Us out-of-towner’s favorite place for after ski food and drinks. Definitely a locals favorite too. Had the best time closing it down with new local friends and many friendly games of Hammerschlagen in the back room. Excellent quality food and service.
This is the kind of place that can only evolve naturally into the fun chill place it has become. Something we fear development will eventually pave over and developers always THINK they can recreate, but never will. Long live the TBar Steamboat!

The place came highly recommended. It was busy and full, which is a good sign. But there was no space inside, the tables outside were so short it was uncomfortable, the line was long to get a drink, and there wasn't much of a vibe. It seems cool af on the outside and I'll give it another try.
