Our dinners were delicious and plenty! The ambience is excellent. Beautiful dining room. Heather gave us terrific service. The only negative, and it wasn't the fault of the restaurant, was the screaming children seated near us. Some were in control of their children but one family appeared not to be.
Outstanding experience! I am a local and I have have only had brunch and happy hour at YVK until last night when we had a wonderful dinner... Food was fantastic tasting and we sat at a nice table in the back room for the 6 of us. The service was fantastic and we really enjoyed our evening! Thank you!
I wear hearing aids so I live in an altered world but my wife (no hearing aids) and I both felt that the music was way, way to loud for normal conversation. Otherwise, as always everything was exceptional!
Always a wonderful experience. Great food, exciting drinks, wonderful service (Thanks David).
My husband is a chef and won't eat steak out because "Nobody knows how to cook it right." He ordered the steak, and when it came, he said, "Finally, someone who knows how to cook steak right." The End.
Stunningly beautiful restaurant in a restored historic building. Charming variety of small dining rooms upstairs. Sunny downstairs. Lovely patios. Had a great breakfast, fresh ingredients, interesting selection, generous portions. Cool waiter. Next time in Steamboat, will be there again. Would like to try dinner, too.
Anthony our server - exceptional. California Benedict - wow. Chicken sammy and BLTs to go for our travels... SUPERB! Coming back.
We were waiting in line to be seated while the hostess asked us to wait while she took a phone call for someone who made a reservation for 15 mins from then as soon as we got to the host stand she said sorry it’s going to be 1.5 hours before we can seat you. Super rude and unprofessional.
Y’all need to work on how you handle same day reservations, do a waitlist don’t make someone in person wait for someone who calls in.

After standing in line at host stand for 15 minutes, the hostess took a phone call in front of our face accepting a reservation for a table 20 minutes later that same day. She then greeted us and said it would be an hour and a half wait. She was incredibly pompous in her claim that there was no availability. It may seem minor, but it was one of the most rude experiences I have ever had at a restaurant.

My granddaughter didn't mention she was allergic to nuts. The pasta appeared to have some sort of nut? We told the staff. They said it was cinnamon? My grand daughter sai she should have mentioned it before she ordered. She did not get sick

We were expecting a really nice meal but we were left disappointed. My fish was flavourless in a green watery sauce and the sushi that came on the side was cold and dry and inedible. It looked like it may have been made days before. My husband ordered a burger medium and it came out raw. He had to send it back, meanwhile I needed to eat my meal or it would get cold. The service was fine but the hostess went around and cleaned tables near us with a aggressive amount of disinfectant spray that we could smell from our table. Our server was sweet and did her best but it was a series of mishaps that ruined our experience. My husband is one who won't go back after a bad meal, unfortunately.
I was not impressed with our experience at all. The service was lacking, as well as the food.
