We dropped in for lunch. The two of us ordered lunch specials. Lasagna with lobster bisque and a Philly stromboli with a salad. The place was busy and the person who seated us came over to get our drink order and apologized for the short wait. I really appreciate the young man took the initiative to jump in and help. The wait was worth it. The meal was delicious. We'll be back for dinner. A gem of an Italian restaurant in a small town. Great parking on the street.
This restaurant came recommend by someone living in Sterling who had been there before and liked it. We decided to give S&L a try and it was great. The service was just right and the food was all good. We ordered five different meals and everything came out as expected. We asked the server for recommendations, she made a few, we tried one, and liked it. They didn't mind our special requests and got it right. Even the pasta dishes included one side, which is rare for restaurants....
