“Saturday May 31st, 2026, my wife and I had the great fortune of finding the Grill at River City. The Hostess greeting us made us feel as if we were family joining them. I am sorry I did not catch her name. Stunning smile and very personable. Our Waitress, Fate, was not only one of the best waitresses I have had, but an ambassador for the city of Sterling, Colorado. We happened to be in Sterling looking to relocate there. We ordered the appetizer platter; all items were made in house. No frozen Mozzarella sticks here, no pre-breaded mushrooms, The potato skins were fresh as well. Even the Marinara sauce for dipping was made in house. From that start we knew our meals were going to be beyond expectation. My wife had ribs and I opted for the Prime Rib Special. The Prime rib was easily the best I have ever had. The only downfall (Not a bad thing really) is the cut was so big that I could not finish my sides that came with it. My wife stated that she wished she had a bigger stomach so she could finish her ribs. I would highly recommend stopping in if you are in Sterling at mealtime. Heck the food was so good I would suggest making The Grill at River City a destination dining spot. My compliments to the chef, and I am sorry we did not catch his or her name either. The passion they have for their job shows in the quality outcome of our meals. We will be back, that I promise!“
