We had such a great experience here. One of us ate off the regular menu and the other off the veg. Service was lovely. Very creative presentation . Beet(not beef) tartare and the salmon were stunning. Everything else was just as incredible.

We had a wonderful dinner and service. The vegan vegetarian dinner is so amazing. So nice to be able to order vegan selections that are so u inquest and tasty. The cheese appetizers is delicious. Staff so professional and nice. We had such a nice dinner.
We recently enjoyed an incredible dining experience at this top-notch establishment. The staff was tremendously welcoming, charming and professional, and made us feel special from the moment we walked in until the time we left. The specialty cocktails were inventive and fun -- and the food was absolutely sublime. There are many great restaurants in this town, but 221 South Oak is a cut-above the rest. Don't miss an opportunity to enjoy everything this place has to offer. We will surely be back.

I count the days every year to come back here. This is by far the best restaurant in Telluride. Real cuisine with real ingredients and real passion behind every dish. Every plate will be a good idea and nothing to regret of. Starters are big size and amazing to share. As always our dinner at 221 was amazing!! The vegan options were absolutely incredible. Loved the cocktails and desserts too. The service is top notch and the manager Sofie is super sweet! She always remembers us and makes the evening extra special!
221 south oak was recommended to us by a friend. We shared the Buratta appetizer and the frois gras,both were presented well and very tasty. The frois gras truffle that came with it was a nice addition. I would have liked a little larger portion of the actual frois gras. We ordered duck confit,Colorado striped sea bass,the chicken entree and the Waygu beef. We enjoyed them all.I loved the small atmosphere of the restauran and the artwork on the walls. The service was excellent!

Our flight got canceled due to an epic snow storm. Provided flight info and they still charged us 375$ cancel fee.

Great food. I thought the portions would be on the smaller size based on the quality but the portions were very generous to my surprise. Staff was awesome thanks everyone. Recommend highly.

Our group has been dining at 221 South Oak for over 15 years. Tonight was another fantastic evening! Isabella and other staff were again very attentive and friendly. They explained many details concerning the menu helping with our selections. The food was delicious. Thanks again to Chef Eliza and her staff for a splendid evening in Telluride. Cheers!
We've always had excellent meals and service at this restaurant. We've eaten there numerous times, and will continue to do so in the future. It is one of the nicest restaurants we've ever been to.

Quality, gourmet food with excellent service. Would come back again for the trout & ravioli (cooked to perfection) and the bread pudding (mainly just the caramel sauce) . Scallops & pork belly app was disappointing, but experience overall was great.Vegetarian options: Full vegetarian menu with excellent selection for every course - amazing spot for veg eatersDietary restrictions: Accommodating to gluten and tree nut allergies (though GF rice cracker for bread was a joke)

Fabulous little gem in the heart of Telluride. Food is upscale and delicious. Service is top notch and they are knowledgeable about the menu and wine selections. This is an old house converted some years back into a quaint little restaurant. Make a reservation. You won't be disappointed

THE BEST. GO TO 221 S OAK. This was the best dining experience we've had in a long time, not just in Telluride but all over (and we travel a lot.) The food was extremely inventive and delicious. The cocktails and wine were high quality and tasty. But even more than that, the service was above and beyond anywhere else we've eaten at in a very long time. The GM (and she was the sommelier as well) could not have been more friendly, charming, and lovely with really great energy. She gave us the warmest greeting when we arrived, even with it being a very busy night. She then came by to check on us and chat a few times throughout our meal. Our server was very knowledgeable with our many questions of the menu and offered great recommendations based on our dietary restrictions. The ambiance was cozy and wonderful. We could have stayed and enjoyed ourselves all night. I would love to give 221 S Oak 6 stars.

We had friends arriving in town including a vegetarian birthday boy. We grabbed a 5pm reservation. They are super popular and very clear about table time limits. We also had 7pm tickets. Even though we had some complications, the service was outstanding and as accommodating as they could be. They have a full vegetarian menu that is amazing. The regular menu is also amazing. We had the striped bass, salmon, a steak and tofu. All wonderful. The Brussels sprout app and the drinks-also perfect. We will return again.
