I'm a Telluride local for 5 years now. I first visited Telluride in 1992 and was awed by the historical, cowboy feel of this mountain town. I returned in 2016 because I fell in love with a local. We were poking around town looking for a place to have a drink and a bite, and as soon as I opened the door to Flora Dora, I was sucked in. It is an old West saloon (bar/restaurant now) with dark wood and brass, with a touch of Victorian lace that brought you right back to the mining days of the late 1800's. Flora Dora is in one of the original mining era buildings, one of the few places in town where you can feel part of the history just sitting there. And the food is decidedly NOT from 1890. The menu is varied, with wings, salads, burgers, along with some sophisticated, gourmet dishes. If you're lucky and dining on a night when Charlie the owner is there, he might raise his voice in greeting all the diners and tell some random, heart felt story that brings everyone together and leaves you smiling. If I want to have a bite or a Guinness on tap at the bar, I almost always choose Flora Dora.

Great place - great food - good prices. We were here 2 yrs ago and really missed the steak that was on the menu then. It was phenomenal - so much we came twice. But this night was excellent and our food was great.

Ordered a hamburger with a gluten free bun and they served me a regular bun. I had already taken a bite and then realized that the bread was too soft and it wasn't falling apart. There was no apology from the server. I have been sick since. Floradora is know for great margaritas. The margs were very sour. It seemed like they skipped the agave all together.

Food was pretty good. All the men got a NY steak and said it was great. I got the appetizer platter for my dinner which was jalapeño poppers. Poppers were burnt to a char. No joke. I should have returned it and complained but the full day skiing had me tired and hungry.

Very cool saloon on the mainstreet! Loved the ambience, the beautiful stained glass and booths. Fabulous bar, terrific friendly service and no ghastly Tv screens ruining the experience. Floradora offered a wide ranging menu with tasty and reasonably priced options. Loved this place!

Quaint place with tight spaces making for high traffic in close quarters. Was not thrilled with seating adjacent distracting kitchen entrance. Our party enjoyed the unique and flavorful menu. Unfortunately, I was served the worst 1/2 in, over cooked ribeye and undercooked, supersized asparagus. This offering was a substitute for the 14 oz NY strip of which they ran out (at 6pm). Not sure why a ribeye was even available since it is not on the regular menu.

Great burgers and wings, excellent service. Sat at the bar and had a nice chat with the owner who addressed the entire restaurant with a couple of stories. Also did lunch at one time. Again a great choice and good service.

The food was very good and the service was great. Love the history of this place. The only problem was the top 40 pop playlist. Maybe we went on the wrong musical night, but it was very irritating.

Great spot, highly recommend. Owner was great and came by the table a few times to chat and joke around with us. Tomahawk porkchop was great, duck egg rolls and baked brie for sharable starters.

Food was great, service was pretty underwhelming. Waitress seemed like she couldn't care less. Never got water refilled or checked on to order another drink. Charged full cocktail price for a mocktail.
