We were in Telluride for the first time, and we looked at all of the restaurants in town. Kazahana caught our eye, as we love all sorts of Asian food. This place did not disappoint. The service was great (thanks Kyle!), the food was amazing. The drinks were a little pricey for what you get. Very narrow glass, short, and $18 for each cocktail. What a beautiful Sushi restaurant!
Our friends took us for our anniversary and it was as special as they told us it would be. It’s one of their favorites in Telluride, and I can see why.
I was craving Sushi, we had been eating a lot of steak and heavier meals, so our friends took us here. So glad they did!
We let the chefs order for us, telling them what we liked and every single roll, sushi, sashimi were outstanding....

Fresh ingredients with expert perpetration. All made by a master chef. Outstanding service by hostess in combination with chef. Both were personable, informative and knowledgeable about each course as well as libation choices. Highly recommend the Omakase Tasting!
