Great service! Waiters were very friendly. Ambience was good but it was way too dimly lit for our liking. The food was not tasty and quantity was less than expected for that exorbitant price.

Rustico offers a charming, cozy atmosphere that's perfect for a romantic dinner or a night out with friends. The warm lighting and rustic decor create a welcoming ambiance.

While the food is decent, it's overpriced for the quality offered.

Ok they have the look! The hostess and server were very nice and fit the part..
Felt rushed by server from the beginning. We had reservations at 6 pm and very few people in the place. Oh, and the music didn’t match an Italian setting.

Have to say the food was less than marginal for a supposedly high-in Italian restaurant in Telluride. So disappointed in my pasta, sauce (lack of) and appetizer. Wine $65 was at best a $20 bottle.

Calamari was cold but although not spongy.. Sauce was bland, thin and not very tasty. Not worth it.

My wife’s risotto wasn’t cooked long enough. My pasta tasted like it was from a fast food Italian restaurant.

$250 food, wine & desserts with tip, for just the two of us. Over priced for what they offer. I’d pay more for better quality.

The best thing was the pistachio gelato.
Chocolate mousse just ok.

If this passes as a fine dining experience in Telluride then you may be all around disappointed. Pitiful for a place in Telluride. Sad. ⭐️

We just had our rehearsal dinner here and everything was absolutely fantastic. Food was delicious. All of the service was phenomenal, and Matteo made sure everything was perfect. And a big thanks to Carmella who went out of her way to help us from afar.

Frankly speaking, this is a $$ quality restaurant with $$$-$$$$ level prices. Given the fact that this is Telluride and everything is shamelessly over-priced, that shouldn't be a surprise. The food is fine, but portions are relatively small. The wait staff is very friendly but only moderately proficient.

The prices are expensive and the food is very poor, I ordered a rissotto and it was made with instant rice

I gave this restaurant 2 stars (not less) only because the outdoor, covered space is very pleasant and the servers try hard. What a waste of a very-rare-in-Telluride wood burning pizza oven. The pizza was awful. Crust like cardboard, fake mozzarella, luke warm. I would prefer a DiGiorno frozen from Clark's. If they could find someone who knew what they were doing with pizza, that place would be filled! As is, It is for tourists only, who don't know any better. Not to mention that a 12" pizza was $30+ and the wines priced at 3x retail.

Came here to celebrate our elopement have a nice, long dinner. Waiter felt like he was trying to rush us and constantly hovering. Courses came out very quickly, unlike what was stated on the menu. Food was bland and uninspired. Paid $250 for 2 drinks, 1 app, and 2 entrees. Certainly not worth it for $100 much less $250.

Food was bland and had amateurish flaws. We had veal with artichokes and capers. $46. The lamb was not tender and tasted like it had been frozen. The side dish was spinach and it had so much water, it flooded the plate and diluted the sauce. It was so bland. The mashed potatoes were awful because of the water. Plus no seasoning. I asked for lemon but they never brought it. We ordered the salmon special $64. It was a tiny piece of farm raised salmon unevenly coked. We had arugula salad with grilled shrimp. The shrimp was cold and undercooked and all the dressing was on the plate under the arugula. Why was it not tossed? We sent back the shrimp and it took forever for them to return. So we sent it all back. The pizza crust was too soft and the sauce was bland. And the service was very slow. I would definitely skip it.

I'd caution any visitors to carefully review and understand what they're ordering from their waiter to prevent what feels like deceptive billing tactics. For example, when we ordered our meals we were asked exactly "Soup or salad?" indicating it was included in our meal. It wasn't and we ended up with $80+ of charges for piles of lettuce and 3 shards of parmesan.

I want to clarify that the price itself is not the issue (it's a $50+ per person place and we are familiar with such restaurants) but I've never had such a confusing and unexpected bill...

I'd say the atmosphere was wonderful, we did enjoy our meals, and we had great service (outside of what I've mentioned above) though. We personally won't be back.

Parking: Street parking is free on Sundays but may be difficult if its busy.
