Smuggler Union Restaurant & Brewery is housed in a stunning building, known for offering some of the best beers in the mountains. The honey ginger beer is a must-try! They serve classic brewery food like chicken and corn beef sandwiches with fries, and the chicken tenders are highly recommended as an appetizer. The restaurant also features excellent homemade root beer and a variety of unique beers such as pumpkin plunge, Oktoberfest, palmyra plunge, and abbey Weiss, all well brewed and flavorful. The staff provide exceptional service, with one reviewer noting how a manager went above and beyond during a medical emergency, packing up lunch to go and checking in on a customer's health. Despite some concerns about service prior to being seated, the servers generally improve the experience. Wheelchair accessibility is limited due to stairs at the entrance, but there is a handicap entrance available.
