It’s unfortunate that I have to write this review as I’ve had many positive experiences at Renegade up until a few days ago. However, I will not keep quiet about this.
I ordered a Lola G’s which comes with guacamole in the burrito. Every time I’ve been there in the past, they’ve had no issues putting the guacamole on the side for me. This time, cashier went to ring me up and charged me for an extra side of guac. I politely questioned the charge, stating that guac actually comes on the burrito and I’m just getting it on the side. Cashier proceeded to get irritated and says “well I’m not even supposed to be giving you the student/teacher discount anyways because it’s the summer”. Typically I am a very non-confrontational person, but the assumption that I was just trying to pay less $$ prompted me to explain my question again, this time more direct. She proceeds to still argue with me about it and decides to get who I assume was the manager involved. He immediately puts his hand up as if telling me to stop talking, points at the menu and starts going in about how guac is always a separate charge unless you get a specialty burrito… which I did. After about 5ish minutes of this I decided to pass on the burrito and walked out. Mind you this was all happening in front of customers. The cherry on top was overhearing the cashier say “cheap ass” as I’m walking out the door. Yikes. It was never about me not wanting to pay, as I’ve paid full price multiple times outside of student/teacher discount hours (which why advertise it if you’re not supposed to offer it in the summer? That seemed like an excuse to profile), it was about the principal of not up charging me for something that already comes on my burrito. And if it was out of policy to give it to me on the side, they could have explained that every other time I was in there it was a mistake (although I don’t believe it was) instead of being rude and unprofessional.
To say the least, I will not be spending my money here anymore and will be attempting to contact the general manager.

I've tried Renegade Burrito 4 times now and can safely say that I just don't get the hype.
The breakfast burritos are OK but are 70% potatoes so if you absolutely love potatoes maybe they're alright, but the proportions are just awful considering the price.
The normal burritos are at best mid. The meat is always under seasoned and while the sauces are decent, it doesn't make up for it.
The quesadillas are just awful, which is wild to me since it's kind of hard to mess those up. But the lack of any type of flavor is super frustrating, especially since they sound so delicious in the descriptions.
The service is pretty disappointing too considering most of the times I've been in, it's been empty but still takes a few minutes for someone to acknowledge you, even for a to-go order.
I should have taken a picture of how many potatoes I took out of my latest breakfast burritos, it was literally a potato burrito with some meat and eggs sprinkled on top.
Overall you're better off going to Santiagos or any other breakfast burrito place, you'll spend half the money on a meatier burrito.

The best lunch by far! I’m with the Colorado Spartans and we ate great all season because of Renegade! Easily a 5 star!

Can get a bit pricey bit the burritos are very well put together and tasty the staff are kind and attentive providing a pretty chill atmosphere

First time trying them out and while the contents of my tacos were pretty flavorful I had to eat them with a fork because the corn tortillas crumbled instantly as soon as I picked it up. Not sure if they were old or what. The servers could be replaced with robots. No greeting, no smiles, I was never asked “what can I get for” nothing. One of them just looked at me for a seconds and I took that as my indication she finally ready to take my order. As she was working on a door dash order when I entered. My tacos aren’t the specialty… I don’t know but it’s my first and last time here.

I don’t think I’ll order from here again. Was convinced to order online using their website because they were offering 20% off if you spent $30. The promo didn’t apply to the order which I realized after I clicked “order”. Tried to get assistance which just directs me to call the restaurant where an AI customer service agent picks up and will not connect me to a human to help me resolve it. Not only that but delivery is saying it will take 45 minutes when uber eats says 20. Don’t order delivery through their online ordering system.

We used to be a very big regular and used to never leave disappointed, but as of the recent months, the quality of care from staff and burritos has gone down drastically. The last time my husband came in, a lady was making him a burrito and dropped a receipt into his burrito, and when he asked it to be remade, the lady was rude. We miss the staff that used to know our orders and were so friendly. We try to come back periodically in hopes of improvements but are disappointed most of the time.
