INCREDIBLE food from this place. i grew up in north mississippi eatin memphis style barbecue & southern pit tastes JUST LIKE home. mr. mario puts it down on the grill like nobody else! i've found a way to mention this place to every stranger i've talked to for months. take it from a mississippi fat boy, yr not gonna find better barbecue in the whole state. RUN, don't walk, to mr. mario POSTHASTE!!!!!
In town for the Sparkler Softball Tournament and found Southern Pit. And I’m happy that I did! Arkansan here, so not a chance I’d find good BBQ in Denver, but I couldn’t have been more wrong! My dude Mario is a fellow southerner (Memphis) and produces a flavor that’s hard to find back home. Don’t sleep on this place!!!
