“Ok, so I live in Arizona and I literally look forward to visiting trinidad to see my family and honestly to eat at Sita's. It is so delicious and they have the best vegan soups in the world! The staff and owners were so friendly and they just know how to make great vegan food. I'm so jealous that Trinidad has this little gem and my hometown has nothing even close. You gotta try this place!“
“OVERALLPerkatory Coffee House is well worth it to exit the interstate for a coffee break!RATING BREAKDOWNLatte: 5 | Service: 5 | Ambiance: 4 | Price: 4 PARKINGFree street parking is available out front. Just read the nearby signs.LOCATION/AMBIANCEThis area of Trinidad, CO, was delightfully decorated for Christmas on 11/25/2023. It's not a far drive at all from Interestate 25. So I accidentally drove by it once. Circled around and noticed it was in the middle of the Galleria building. When I walked in there were definite Halloween and steampunk vibes with low lighting and skull decor. Very cool because that's what I dressed up as this year... a steampunker. While I was waiting for my drink, I inquired about the restroom. They do not have one there in the shop. It's a building restroom down the hall in which a key is required. It was very clean at about 9AM.THE DRINKSMy caramel macchiato ($6.59 for a 20-oz.) was so rich and creamy. The best one I've probably ever had. I requested it with 2% cow milk. I giggled hard when they asked "Is it okay that this has 3 shots of espresso?" Well, espresso yeah!Their coffee is dervied from Spanish Peaks Coffee Roasters in Colorado Springs.LITTLE YELPER'S CLUBDid not see any kid's sizes anything.SERVICEThe young ladies all welcomed me in very quickly and took extra care of my order.MY FAVORITE PART...The creaminess of my latte. The wood smiley face drink stopper. Nice touch.NOT SO FAVORITE PART...Having to use a key and go all the way down a long hallway to use the women's restroom.TIPThey tout all locally-sourced items including their breakfast offerings plus they have a tea wall.“
“Really excellent Cafe. The food was great and the service excellent. Very clean and comfortable environment. Great selection of unique sandwiches and salads. If you are on the road passing through Trinidad then get off at exit 13B. About a half mile down Main Street on the left. You'll be happy you stopped.“
“We had gotten into town late and couldn't really find a place to eat. We were actually going to another restaurant when we saw this place and decided to go in. Their main room had 4-5 big parties and they were a bit understaffed at the time so we had to wait to get serviced. Saying that our server, although obviously stretched, did and said everything to make sure we were taken care of. They let us know up front what was going on and our wait times could get pretty long. Even so our food came to us hot and good. They all did a great job handling the situation. I would recommend them to anyone going to our staffing in Trinidad.“
“I used to be a baker in Minnesota, so I might have high standards, but....I had a sticky bun and an apple filled hand pie. The sticky bun was a little underbaked, which would explain it looking a little anemic, but it had great texture and flavor. The hand pie had to have been one of the best pie doughs I have ever had. It was very light, airy, and flaky, but not greasy. The filling, I think, could use a little work. Overall, I will definitely be back to try more items!“
