The food was good enough but no peppers and onions on Philly, and forgot tartar for fish and the ranch for mushrooms

Kangaroo Coffee and Flatt's were the two shops that we enjoyed here on our first Marketplace experience. Will definitely be back.
The atmosphere? Which one? If you sit near Kangaroo you'll have lots of voices and sound; sit in the back near Noodle and it's quiet. Your choice.

We usually like to park and walk around downtown Trinidad. ๐๏ธ This time we saw this little food court and decided to stop and see what was inside. There is a coffee โ shop, a pasta ๐ & pizza ๐ spot , a grill ๐ซ a bar ๐ฅ ๐ป, a noodle ๐place, a hamburger ๐๐ place, and a Mexican food ๐ฎ ๐ฏ stall. There is a good variety of food here to satisfy most taste buds. We can't wait to see what else will be added when we visit again.

Almost no gluten free options. The only restaurants that have gf are the bakery (prepackaged sweet breads) because they sold out of their only gluten free breakfast sandwich or the noodle place and the only thing they had was green curry or pho.
My husband ordered the rice bowl and said it looked and tastes just like a lean cuisine and the burger place that had salads said they couldnโt accommodate a gluten allergy.

Let me start out by saying the 1 star review does not reflect on any individual vendor in this place. The marketplace is a wonderful place to grab food. Every spot here is 5 star. THE PROBLEM IS EVERY TABLE IS BROKEN. How can I enjoy my delicious burgers, burritos , pho, and coffee IF I HAVE NOWHERE TO SIT! It's not like this is a new issue either I'm just fed up about it. Hopefully this review will change back to the original 5 stars I rated it previously when I could sit down and enjoy my meals.

My husband and I frequently visit Trinidad from Texas and enjoy stopping in at the Marketplace Bar for a drink from time to time. We decided to visit this evening for after a long road trip and arrived around 8:30pm to find the doors locked up. We called earlier to double check closing time and were informed closing was at 10pm or later "depending on the crowd". The hours posted online corresponded with what we were told. When we arrived there were several people sitting at the bar (almost half the bar!) with drinks but both front and back doors were closed and locked so we could not get in. Unfortunately we could not get the attention of any employee to let us in so we were forced to go elsewhere. It is extremely disappointing to have attempted to plan ahead and to be met with locked doors. No wonder Trinidad continues to struggle with failing businesses. If this were a slow Wednesday or Thursday I could understand closing early. However, a Saturday night with 6 people still sitting in the bar? Do better Trinidad!
