This is a beautiful, creative, very unorthodox hotel. If you love fascinating places to stay, you'll love this. There's a really cool self-pour bar with a neat communal area downstairs. There's a cool outside private area too.You get to the rooms upstairs via this staircase that's covered but technically attached to the side of the building. You enter a bright red hallway with curated lighting, and the rooms are definitely thoughtfully designed.
I was just a single traveler so I stayed in the smallest room with these two bunkbeds and it was cozy, but very svelte and sleek for a room that size. Overall, it's a very fun unique cool place to stay in Trinidad. I would definitely stay here again.
Amazingly cool hotel and owners. The rooms are from the 1800s, and the restaurant/bar is super unique with awesome food. Kealy and Jason made us feel right at home. Will definitely be back!
Very unique, hip & historic property with thoughtful service & nice room features.
Thank you for the clean and stylish accommodations with everything we needed. Cool Marshall amp fridge! The bed was very comfortable. Nice to have the mini split for air conditioning. We really love staying in the heart of downtown Trinidad. π
Not really close to much but a good stop if you are on the road. Great old building with nice amenities. Stayed here on the way to the highest point in OK, which was still a 2 hour drive from Trinidad.
Large comfortable room, shower and bed, tall windows, easy access, centrally located, friendly staff.
Excellent customer service at check in! The room was comfortable and had everything I needed. The only problem I had was not being able to download the virtual remote for the tv. The hotel is conveniently located in downtown and the restaurant there was excellent!
We had a wonderful time! Our kids and us all enjoyed the rooms! Everything was very clean and nicely stocked. Our hosts were amazing as well! If we are back in the area we will definitely be staying there again
Needed a room last minute and booked room 10 around 8pm. Was able to make it in time to catch a dinner in the lobby and a few drinks before heading to the room. The young woman working in the lobby was very polite, professional, knowledgeable, and helpful! 5+ stars to her!! The room was cute, loved the rustic floors and historic feel of the building. Excellent patio area to unwind and the location was super easy to walk around downtown and do some shopping. Bed was comfy, ceiling fan was great, and the whole place just oozed charm. Do not miss out on this lovely building if you are needing a place to stay in Trinidad!
Stop and enjoy this place. Absolutely making this place a stop over when traveling up this way.

Really cool place great food in the restaurant and Tap room. We will be back we loved it.
We had a delightful stay and ended up staying an extra day.
Great and charming stay! Very hospitable. The taproom is super fun too! Try the old fashioned! Thanks for a great stay!
Such a quick, but amazing stay. Rooms are so cute! Iβm a little picky (to say the least) about where I stay. Despite the age of the gorgeous building, The Well Hotel checked all my boxes. Our only complaints were that we didnβt get there earlier and couldnβt stay longer. The βWell-comeβ beats any hotel, Airbnb or other accommodations! If you are in Trinidad for any amount of time, The Well is the place to stay!
Such a fine renovation into generously spaceous rooms. Trinidad is well worth a visit, and the Well Hotel is right in the center of it
