This restaurant is in a great location. We were excited to try it, having traveled through Spain extensively. Unfortunately, the food was just okay. Started with their homemade sangria, which was wonderful. Shrimp ceviche and salad very good as well. Entrees were mediocre. Blackened cod small portion and not particularly flavorful. We had high expectations on this Spanish restaurant and specially for their Thursday special paella. But it was not tasty, not even the seafood was good... and way too expensive. Service as great but they should revisit their kitchen and menu to provide a more authentic Spanish cuisine as advertised.
Overall - ambiance (decor), table setting was very good. Food quality and presentation very good. Service - mediocre. Did not like that a 20% automatic gratuity was added to the bill (for 2 people) without our consent. Also, addition of 3.5% 'kitchen fee' seems outlandish as my undrestanding is that this is not a legal/local requiement but an indiviudal restaurant option.
