Located at the top of Gondola 19 in Lionshead, Eagle’s Nest has several eateries for skiers and riders. The food here is good, although expensive. Over the past two years, the menu options and quality have improved significantly.There is a good bar on the first floor, Bistro 14. This use to be a restaurant, but post-COVID, it is just a bar.
Summer visit a few years back, just a scenic little hike over from the main lift. Breathtaking views from the summit. Lunch was decent, had roasted lamb sandwich with mozzarella, au jus dip and fries...with a Coors Light of course. Even though it was August long sleeves were needed at that elevation (I saw folks in coats that day).I recommend.Nearby activities: Skiing but I was there in summer so it was a short hike for us.Noteworthy details: Beautiful views
Nice enough vibe with great views, and good selection of food (pizza, soup, burgers, salad). Note that you can get the same food at any of the restaurants on the slopes, so it’s all about selecting the place you like to sit in most! Make a reservation ahead of time as they may not allow you in without one.
