Pretty good Mexican food. When we visited they were not busy. We were served right away and the food came quick. Was not wowed by white rice over Spanish rice. Carne Asada was pretty good. Friendly folks and great views of the ski run.

We had lunch at El Sabor earlier this week. The location is nice with good views of the mountains. The food is the worst we’ve had anywhere in the Vail complex. The fortis chips were under salted and bland. The tacos (beef, pork & shrimp) were over cooked and bland. Don’t bother with this place.

Excellent mexican food. Their queso is made in-house and is so creamy and tasty.
Parking: The restaurant is in one of the hotels and parking is not available unless you are staying at the hotel. However, there is parking and a garage, but it is a bit of a walk.

Careful with your credit cards here…… was here for a wedding party last weekend, bartender closed out our open tab without us asking, then proceeded to tell me the card was given to me. management did nothing about it except for ask again if “I’m sure I did not take the card”, treating me like an idiot. The bartender also continued to say “I ask for full first and last names when closing open bar Tabs and check to hand out the card with the correct full name”.
Clearly you don’t, due to the fact that we found the missing card in the wallet of another wedding guest two days later. Not even remotely close to the same name.
Some advice to the management…Check your bartenders attitude/ability to do his job correctly before coming to me and asking if I’m sure I didn’t misplace a credit card.

Great Mexican at the base of Lionshead. Awesome patio. Good margs. I personally recommend the burgers but all the food is good. I've been going there since they opened.

Nice atmosphere, but the pros stop there. Waited for an hour for our food, despite ordering at the same time as the rest of our group. Found a shard of plastic in the aioli with the shishitos, and the server and manager both seemed unconcerned.

Best happy hour and restaurant in vail! Amazing staff! Amazing prices and food! same owners as garfinkle so it doesnt make any sense to me. But this place is 10/10
Very poor service and rude servants. Waited 30 minutes; no one came to our table to serve. When we told them that we were waiting so long, they said “Have a good day”!
Our server Fernanda was amazing! Best queso and best location in town.

Yikes. Kitchen needs help with their food. Ordered tacos and I thought I was eating a cardboard box. Staff was mediocre.

Manager is extremely rude. We left before eating. Waitress was friendly and preparing a table for us. We were preparing to order drinks while we waited. The bartender (manager) stated the children could not be at the bar. No problem, we had them wait just outside the door. However, the “manager” became very rude for no reason and had a bad attitude. Maybe she is having a bad day but we decided to take our business elsewhere.
Love the breakfast burritos!!!!Friendly staff!!Awesome Margaritas!!!

We have lunch there at around 1pm in January when the resort is not too busy. The service is top notch. Everyone we talked to is so nice and helpful. We order some taco and ribeye fajitas. The ribeye is juicy and tastes better than most steak houses. The view is great, similar to the other restaurant you can see the slopes and mountain.
